May a Flight of Cherubs Sing Thee to Thy Rest
Who: Jane Crocker AND YOU!
What: The Nightmare Plot
When: October 5th-8th
Where: The Land of Crypts and Helium...sort of.
Rating: PG-13 at the very least.
[With all the terrible things she's seen in the past few days, Jane never expected to fall into a nightmare of her own, but it seems that no one can escape them, at least for long.]
[You find yourself in a land of desolate grey and black skies, with leafless trees scattered across the landscape, made even more skeletal by their stark white bark. Every once in a while, the sky is punctuated by vibrant balloons, rising into the air on powerful jets of water. There is a long and winding path ahead of you, and for some reason, you feel compelled to follow it.
After what feels like an eternity, you find yourself at a crypt at the end of the path, its open door a gaping maw, and from inside you can hear someone...sobbing.
Inside you find another building, this one with a broken door. It must have been broken by someone with a lot of mangrit. The sobs are louder here, and you may hear a voice that you can recognize:]
Please...not again, please! Leave them be, I beg you!!!
[Once inside, you come to a wide room, and the first thing you'll notice is Jane, kneeling and still on the floor as she gazes into...nothing?]
Stop, you need to stop...I can't watch them die again, I just can't...
[It's almost as if she can see something no one else can see...but that can't be right! Surely she's gone crazy!
Do you approach?]

Jane-san!
[He immediately runs over and kneels next to her, worry written all over his face.]
Jane-san! Are you alright?
no subject
No!! Put them down, they don't deserve this!!!
no subject
[Yep, this definitely warrants enough worry for him to reach out to put a hand on her shoulder. And maybe shake it a little.]

He finally makes it to the building, however and against his best logic, goes inside]
...Jane? Kiddo is that you?

There are some hiccups, and Jane's curled in on herself, now, eyes still for the darkness before her.]
No...no more, please...

Well, she did play Sburb herself, but how is it that John found himself in her session? Or out of Paradisa for that matter!
He doesn't question it too much at the moment, right now he's more concerned with making sure she's okay, so he scurries through the broken door, and hurries over to Jane's side. ]
... Jane? Are you okay?
no subject
[This is too much, this is way too much. She grabs onto his shoulders and looks him in the eye.]
John, please, please tell me you can see her, too! Please, oh God, I can't...
no subject
I don't see anyone else, Jane. Who are you talking about?
no subject
I didn't believe, and now everyone's dying...t-the Ba...
[Oh God, she can't even say it.]
no subject
I don't know what you're talking about. I have no idea who you're seeing, but there is no one actually there!
