open ; everyone loves green goo
Who: Rictor + you. And your cat.
What: Green goop everywhere, 'nuff said.
When: ....Afternoon of the 13th?
Where: ALL OVER THE CASTLE
Rating: PG for eventual mild language
Format: My default is bracket text, but I'm fine with brackets or prose! o/
[Dear residents of Cair Paradisa, your castle is looking decidedly green today, and not with envy. There is green goop on the carpets, covering the doorknobs, and perhaps even in your once-spotless rooms! (The intruder was just looking for a shower, okay?) But never fear, because if you'd like to have an angry word with him about the mess he's making everywhere, he's pretty easy to hunt down. Just follow the trail of green.
For those of you lucky enough to notice a man in a beat up jacket and a scowl on his face stalking down the halls, it might be best to steer clear of him. Because if there's one thing Rictor is good at, it's venting his frustration out on poor faultless passerbys.
And he is very, very frustrated right now.]

But at the same time, he can't just do nothing, because what if it is really him?]
...Julio?
no subject
Rictor, for obvious reasons, is more relieved than surprised to hear that particular voice ringing down the hallway, and turns around with a marked drop of his shoulders. His eyes light up at the sight of Shatterstar, though he can't help scowl (a bit more than he already is) at how the other man seems so, well, clean. Freakin' unfair, man.]
'Star! Are Rahne and Terry and the rest of 'em with you?
no subject
His face lights up rather visibly at realizing that yes, Rictor is here, not some hideous fragment of his imagination. Particularly as he has never really imagined Rictor covered in goo. His expression falls again at the question, though]
No - none of them are here. One of the X-Men was, but I have not seen him recently.
no subject
But he sighs, and runs a hand through his hair - and then scowls again when it comes away dripping and sticky.]
Figures. Tell me it wasn't Wolverine.
['Cause that's really the last person he wants to see right now.]
no subject
Jono Starsmore. He was a classmate of Sam's sister.
no subject
But there's a frown, and a slight furrowing of the eyes at the name.]
I remember Sam and his sister, but I don't remember a Jono. [Then again, his memory's never been quite as good as 'Star's.] He didn't do anything to you, right?
[And the unspoken question following that is, "And you didn't do anything to him, right"?]
no subject
He shrugs a little]
I remembered his name from Xavier's files. And no, he did not 'do anything' to me.
no subject
Wait. What do you mean, 'recently'? You've only been here a few hours.
[Assumptions, assumptions.]
no subject
Almost two months now.
no subject
But you've been with me for the past two months! [It's not...possible.] Please don't tell me you've been brainwashed again.
no subject
What's the last thing you remember before being here?
no subject
['Cause that would just make life needlessly difficult for the both of them.]
There was the crazy old lady who turned into a tentacle monster. We took her down while Madrox was off romancing some single mom.
[Not quite, but close enough.]
no subject
Also, Mojo sent an assassin after me, though I.. disposed of him. And then you and I were going to help Rahne find her child.
...I think that's everything, anyway.
no subject
Wait? Madrox died? And Havoc and Polaris got put in charge? [Nope, definitely not remembering this.] When the hell did this happen?
no subject
[He kind of looks Ric over]
...who you seem to still be wearing.
no subject
Thanks for noticing. [Really, thanks. But that's less important now, because while he can handle being dirty for a few more hours if he really has to, he wants answers to this weird time-warp thing that's just been shoved in his face.] So you've really been here for two months? Alone?
no subject
no subject
[Given that he's run into a few residents already.]
You know what? You can tell me all the gory details later. Right now I just really want a freakin' shower. [A pointed look at 'Star.] You got a room with a shower, right?
no subject
[He points back down the hall]
It's just down that way.
no subject
Uh, you do realize you're making a mess everywhere, right?
no subject
So?
[His voice is gruff, unapologetic in the least. Sorry, Ino. :( He doesn't really give much of a damn right now about the mess he's making.]
no subject
What happened, did you get in a fight with some Jell-O?
no subject
I wish. Turns out some crazy old lady was a giant green slime monster and was creeping out the locals. [He shrugs.] Not as weird as some of the other stuff I've seen, but definitely grosser.
no subject
In town? [because she's pretty sure she would have seen that on the way over]
no subject
no subject
[she'll grin, hands on her hips] Lucky you.
no subject
Lucky me, why?
no subject
no subject
Haven't had my powers for a long time now. And I don't feel anything missing. Why?
no subject
no subject
How the hell does that work?
no subject
It's just what happens. Most people believe the whole thing operates by magic, but it's up to you what you want to believe.
no subject
What'd you lose?
[Sorry for the personal question, but he's trying to gauge.]
no subject
Memories of a person that was important to me.
no subject
And how'd you find out?
['Cause he would really like to know what he lost]
