partyin partyin yeah
Who; Ino, Tsuna, Rapunzel, and YOU!!!
What; A birthday party celebration ... thing.
Where; The ballroom
When Tonight
Rating PG? Maybe PG-13?
[The ballroom had taken a bit of work on Ino's part, but she didn't mind -- she was glad to help decorate if it meant that the people who were meant to come to the party would enjoy themselves. She'd decked out the room with a little help from the ghosts -- it was simple and not too frilly, though there were flowers decorating the tables as centerpieces. Paper lanterns hang from the ceiling down low over the tables.
And of course, there's food (CAKE!!!) and drink and a table for presents. If you're a friend of Tsuna or Rapunzel, you've probably been invited -- so come on in!]

[And at that, he can't help but grin a little. Yep. He likes her]

[there's an amused look again.] Ah, those books. [she takes a drink.] Another thing you'll have to forgive, I don't take to them kindly for obvious reasons.

[he chuckles] I figured. My student was quite quick to tell me what they wrote about you was wrong. Not that she said how, but all the same.
no subject
[Curious, she raises an eyebrow at him.] Student? Which student would that be that shows such loyalty?
no subject
Arya Stark? She seems fond of you.

[he smiles besides himself] She's one of my finest students - quick as a whip and hardworking.
no subject
Not that... I doubt your integrity as a gentleman... but I'd prefer if what happened to stay between us. If it's all the same to you. [which she guessed, it was.]
no subject
[he snorts] I figure you'd would. It makes no difference to me.
no subject
[graciously she bows her head in thanks.] I've something of a reputation. Even here, I'm more well known than I had thought...
no subject
Yeah. I guess there are a lot of Earth people here, more people bound to know you.
no subject
Exactly so, there are a lot of people on earth even now, and as many kings as there are countries. I am one of many, and my country is not so big as all that.
no subject
I dunno, maybe your country gained more power than the other ones. England comes up a lot in the books.
no subject
[she's all playful again at that.] If you keep saying such things, I might have to keep you about.
no subject
[He chuckles and smiles charmingly] I'm afraid you'll find I'm not good at having keepers, milady. But...I don't mind visits.
no subject
[Well... she hadn't expected that offer. But she turned to him a little more.] That is fortunate, for neither am I, and that is an interesting offer. But such affairs don't always end cleanly, if you take my meaning.
no subject
They don't, no. But in this place? There's no kingdom, no court, no people to rule. Even if we were caught and exposed, no one could dethrone you or even know once they left. Not to mention? Six years of records here and not a single pregnancy - so I feel saying in that's not a real risk either.
Worst that can happen? One of us get too attached. That happens? We cut it off fast and all that's left is to nurse the broken heart - which always heals in time.
Honestly, from where I'm sitting? It's the cleanest mess you can have.

Very nicely put. I commend you. You do not play the usual games. Any other way, and I'd be disregarding you right now. Not to mention you read my hesitations well... [She took another sip, before continuing.] Nor is my heart something that is in play at all, so you need not worry.
[he hadn't played to her mind, not like Dudley or Raleigh had. It was just this, pure and simple. She was still contemplating though, weighing up the pros and cons.]
no subject
Please. You're the queen of a powerful country in a world that's against female rulers- I got no doubt you don't go a month without hearing those usual games. [If Zelos had one gift, it was the gift to read people. Knowing what to say, what not to say, when to escape. It was a necessity, in his life.]
I'm not worried. Even if I'm quite the catch and you seem like an incredible woman, I think we can handle ourselves. [Elizabeth was no young woman who fall for the first handsome man to look her way. He knew that much]

[She looked him over again, as discreetly as possible. They were in public after all, and when not inhibited, she wasn't inclined to public displays of affection like that. Or at least not any more. But she liked what she saw, and could assume he liked just as much. The pretty ones were usually some kind of fussy.]
Well, if you think you can handle yourself then. You're welcome to dine with me. [an open invitation, but if anyone is listening
say nosy family members / elves / other guests / all of the abovehardly inappropriate.]no subject
[He watches her looking him over, weighing her decisions. This was slightly outside his norm, he'd admit, but not too much so. Not to mention, he's bored. Trying something new could be fun. When she finally speaks that invitation, he'll look very pleased]
Really? It'd be my pleasure, milady.

[This whole thing is so far beyond her normal, to at least her experience. Her ladies? Not so much.]

I look forward to it.
