Who: Kat and You!
What: Sick Spartan is Sick.
When: Today
Where: Hanger
Rating: PG until further notice
Kat had been sick once before because of the castle, and when she started to come down with the symptoms of a cold again - while several of the other residents also exhibited symptoms - she decided to just keep to herself.
Still, the Spartan in her won't let her just lay in bed and rest it out; she's slowly continuing work on the tank, which is steadily starting to look more and more like a tank, despite having to stop for coughing fits or interrupt for frequent rests.
She has, however, left the hangar bay doors open because the day is so nice, so anyone wandering by is invited to come and watch the Spartan struggle as her infection strenghtens throughout the day.
[[ooc: Please indicate morning, noon, or evening to determine where in the inection Kat is at :3 ]]

Awesome~
"Yeah. You can say I am. Most of this stuff is ground attack, inter-planetary, right?"
He's going to wander over to the Falcon. Old-style, sure, but not even the Home Guard had some of the stuff on these babies.
"Though I will say some of this stuff is pretty out-dated where I come from."

Yup, she's definately proud of what she's done. "I would have built a Longsword, or even a Saber -- don't think I can't -- but the castle's power barrier would instantly make them useless. This awful place wo't let me reach my full potential."
She wanders over to him. "You in the military, in your world?"
no subject
And, as much as Harper hates to admit it. "I guess being the Chief Engineer on the most powerful warship in the Tri-Galaxies makes me sorta military. I'm a honourary Lieutenant in the Commonwealth High Guard."
Honourary is dependant on who he's speaking to at the time.

She looks around at her shop. "What I wouldn't give to be able to spread my wings."
She looks down at him appraisingly. A Lieutenant Commander herself, she was interested in what ranks were represented here. "So how is it, being an Honourary Lieutenant?"
She unclasps the armored glove on her left hand and reaches out to touch Harper's forehead, as if she could guage his military prowess through touch. Or, you know, infect him with the virus.

"And, basically, when Captain Hunt says jump, I jump. I'm only an officer when he needs me to be." Thank god. Harper definitely doesn't seem the military type, even for the High Guard Argosy, the space navy of the Commonwealth.
When Kat touches his forehead, however, he was too busy looking at the Scorpion. He instantly jerks back, backing off a step. "Hey, hey. Woah. Look, but don't touch!"
no subject
She just stands there and watches him, unaffected. "It's my hangar, I can do what I want."
no subject
"R-Right, but isn't touching guys foreheads a bit... yanno... weird?"
no subject
"Weird for who? You don't have anything to fear; I'm a Spartan. I'm mankind's greatest weapon. Without me? They'd be paste."
no subject
"Who said I was scared? I've faced down tons of stuff before." A pause. "I just don't like people in my personal space."
no subject
Standing straight and proud, a look of smug satisfaction on her face.
no subject
"I bet I could name a few things." And because baiting her is totally a good idea, Seamus.
no subject
"Really? Why don't you go ahead and try me."
no subject
A question... a question... he could only think of one...
"From the beginning, what are the ten radical isotopes?" A low blow, but he was being squared up to by a six-foot-something woman in armour.

'Scuse him while he turns and hacks up a lung before looking back up to Kat.
"Okay. Here's the deal. I give you the list of radical isotopes. If you can figure out how to make 'em, you'll have the satisfaction of knowing something I don't."
Also, its a distraction because he just has to have some of those tools...

Dongor -17
Krasnov -307
Simonsium -211
Lu -31
Metite -239
Hyduron -173
Kartex -79
Tucharium -5
Sharbar -101
Ulanium -127
"Here we go, the ten radical isotopes of elements found across the tri-galaxies. Have fun." He slides the paper towards her.
Why, yes, those are all negative mass isotopes.

He needs them, after all.
"Let me know if you figure it out. Name's Harper. I'll leave you to it."
And then turns to leave, hopefully before Kat notices the tools missing...
