if you don't leave you will kill or be killed

Who: Micheletto and you
What: the most ridiculous intro i've ever written
When: 13/December, late afternoon
Where: the duck pond
Rating: ducks.

[There is currently a very nonplussed-looking man standing knee-deep in the duck pond. He has apparently been there for at least several minutes, because the ducks have become accustomed to his presence enough where they aren't too afraid to come close.

His hair is a little damp, too. Maybe he fell in earlier? Regardless, he's still just standing there. It's a little weird. Surely someone in such a catatonic state could use some assistance!

Of course, the second any hypothetical assistance gets close enough, he's going to grab them and toss them into the pond. Maybe that's why he looks so puzzled.]

[ooc.: during this post, micheletto's also experiencing his first temporary loss, wherein he will just shove people into the pond reflexively if they get within arm's reach. because it's funny. prose or actionspam, you decide!]

[ It is unfair, of course, to place the blame on the instrument rather than the master. But this seems easier, and anger has made her impatient. This will do.

She keeps her gaze on him, cold and judgmental. She intends for him to be uncomfortable. ]

Not truthfully. Have I good reason to lie for your sake?

[ Hey, be nice to the ducks. By this point, Lucrezia is only finding excuses to be angry at him, because she can't be openly so with the others. ]

I doubt he would be pleased to know of this meeting.

[ She frowns his way and tips up her head in defiance. ]

You are dismissed then.

[ But he's the manservant, of course she gets to!

Lucrezia inhales slowly, concocting some poisonous words before deciding they would only be foolish. ]

I will only leave when I have your name.

[ She keeps staring him down! ]

I wish to know the name of the first man to dare command me to leave.

[ Lucrezia takes it as improvement at least, that he is looking at her, though she returns it with spite. Would his master tell her his name if she asked?

She knows the answer, which just irritates her more.

She turns instead, to leave, halting to speak to him without looking his way. ]

You will have a room in the castle. Your name will be by the door.

That would be easier done if you had given me your name. [ But now she's being spiteful.

Lucrezia huffs and starts walking away! ]

You are no one to me until the day he seeks to change that.
