[Zelos awoke with a start when he realized he was no longer in his nice warm bed. He sits up, glancing around him. It almost seemed like he was in the forest, but it wasn't quite right. It was far too quiet and the snow seemed to sparkle too much...in fact it didn't seem to feel cold at all despite that he was only the white pants and sleeveless black top he had worn to bed. ]

Where...

[...Was he? Great. Had he been kidnapped or something? He remembered what happened to Yuan at the beginning of summer and quickly checks to see if he's armed- only the small dagger he had strapped to his leg under his pants]

[Wonderful. It was better than nothing, but still wasn't a whole lot. He heaves out a sigh before speaking quite loudly]

Gee, I sure hope there's no one out there to ambush and kill me, cause that'd sure suck.

[Tsuna frowns at Zelos, but falls silent and looks outside again. Not that there's really anything to look at.]

[Yep exactly might as well not panic. He meanwhile finishes up with skinning and leaves the fur on the ground in the space in front of them. Using some crystals to make the circle around it - he then concentrates and sets the furs on fire with his mind. Spoiler: it probably smells godawful]

[If he had any desire to eat before, he certainly doesn't now.]

Ergh, jeez! That's not the food, is it?!

No, that's kindle. The lovely smell is fur burning.

I think I might be sick.

Hey, you wanna go find some burnable wood? Be my guest.

[He looks at the fire for a moment, then up at Zelos.]

You seem pretty good at this sort of thing. Have you done it before?

[wilder]

[He shrugs as he stabs the carcass with a long piece of crystal, holding it over the fire]

Few times when I've traveled. If you aren't near any towns to pick up supplies, you cut up monster corpses for food.

[Well, that was... basically the same thing as eating animal meat, right?

He decides to focus on the less revolting part of the response.]

Well, might as well talk about himself a little then.]

Not me. I've been in Japan my whole life. I barely even leave the town I live in.

No, not really.

Huh. [Zelos has trouble imagining that. He had spent years in Meltokio, stuck in Meltokio- hell even stuck in his own house when he wasn't needed. And every day all he wanted to do was get away]

Well guess it's not for everyone.

It's nice, getting to see new places and discover new things.

Have you ever thought about traveling the world we got stuck in?

...although, I guess you'd have to leave the castle [and his friends] awhile to do something like that.

Sure, sometimes I think about it. Whenever I get sick of castle crap.

Buuut Lloyd would have a fit if I just ran off for a long time. Last time I did for a couple weeks, he decked me when I got back ahaha. So I just stick to smaller trips and expeditions.
