Spike had decided it was the perfect day to go wandering, and wandering he did. All over the castle, from his precious library to the snowy gardens. He had no real destination in mind, but without a list of Things To Do Today, he figured he'd better make good with the time off before Twilight pulled herself out of whatever book she was reading to give him more things to do.

He'd get bored soon, that was inevitable, but for now, he just enjoyed wandering around, seeing who he could see

Or, at the very least, no dragon without proper winter attire. [the silvery scarf she's taken to wearing when outdoors is seized in a blue glow and wrapped loosely around Spike's neck instead.]

Consider it as a token of mine thanks for accompanying me on this cold winter's eve.

Well, if you're sure. [He snuggles up regardless, looking up at the sky] The sky sure is pretty from here.

Sure I am sure. [hah. That was a joke. A modern joke! With modern vernacular!

...Anyway.] Dusk and dawn are e'er mine favorites - in spite of my obvious biases. The colors cannot be matched.

I always like the colours, it makes the whole place look so much prettier.
