This can only end in someone being buzzed.
Who: Mitsuru Kirijo and Larry Foulke; with special guest appearance of Rise Kujikawa
What: Having a drink or two. Or however many.
When: January 27
Where: The Lux
Rating: C for Classy because Mitsuru. Also PG because Pixy.
He wasn't expecting to go out for a drink with a woman, but hey, he certainly wasn't about to complain. There were a few women around Valais so it's not like drinking with a woman was anything unusual, just in a place like this - and not at an airbase - maybe a bit unexpected.
What was especially unexpected was the one that he was heading to The Lux with. He'd met the woman just recently, and the way she dressed, spoke and her general mannerisms just screamed of 'rich' or 'general noblelady'. Certainly not the type that'd be typically going out to hang out with a mercenary. Their ways of life pretty much clashed, so one would think they wouldn't get along at all.
But, a drinking buddy is a drinking buddy, and she said she was old enough so he wasn't about to say the offer didn't extend to her. So he was on his way down the grand staircase to meet up with one Mitsuru Kirijo to head off to The Lux with. He certainly wasn't dressed fancy for the occasion (there was no reason to, it was just a casual social drink) but he still had his flight jacket just as he did last time.
Once in the lobby, he'll give a quick scan around the place, looking around for a certain familiar red-head.

I'd be havin' a hard time believing what you're saying had you told me this a couple weeks ago. But you're the second person to mention that 'Persona' thing. I wonder if this is gonna be a reoccuring thing that I'm gonna be running into.
[He smirks a little as he shrugs lightly.]
Creatures from a human's negative emotions, huh? Belka would be hell if such a thing existed.
no subject
There is a resident in this castle who knows of Personas? I'm intrigued. Do you know where this person might be?
no subject
... And she's talking to Pixy too. Ugh. Rise tries to keep her distance for a while, and sneaks up from behind. She's still a fairy, so her bright pink glow would give her away as soon as someone looked.
But then, it hit her. A strong scent in the air, and she started to lose control over her flight.]
Wh-wha...?!
[She tumbles forward in the air, towards the red-haired woman's head.
With some effort, she manages to pull up and miss, but the smell is getting stronger. Her flight loses any semblance of an actual path entirely and she spirals down towards the bar, landing in the glass in front of the woman.
Oh, great. Now she's going to reek of this stuff. Wait... it's alcohol?!
And great, she landed on her wings again, so she can't even get out! Crap...]
no subject
He then frowns, his eyebrow twitching.]
Yeah. She's right there.
no subject
Hm...? [Mitsuru seems to recognize the fairy's face, and after a second of pause she said the name that came up in her mind the moment she saw the fairy]
Kujikawa?!
no subject
[Wow, the red-haired lady is really pretty! But Rise doesn't recognize her.]
Do I know you?
[Her words are slightly slurred already. It might be a good idea to help her out of the alcoholic beverage she's struggling to free herself from...]
no subject
What are you doing here? This isn't an area minors should be in.
no subject
I suppose you don't remember the P-1 Grand Prix? [She must have entered this world sometime before that event... Like some time paradox]
In any case, my name is Mitsuru Kirijo.
no subject
She pulls herself up a bit and sweeps her now somewhat messy hair out of her face with one arm.]
Hey, you should be more careful with fragile little fairies!
[With a huff, she shifts position so she's sitting on the bar cross-legged. Then turns her attention to the pretty red-haired lady.]
Huh? P-... what?
[She knew her name, though, so... wait, shouldn't she be surprised she's a fairy?!]
Oh, no... don't tell me I'm a fairy back home too!
no subject
[He'll roll his eyes and turn away from the two. The fact that brat of all people showed up was a nuisance, not to mention she's even interrupted their conversations entirely. And will probably be distracting Mitsuru with their ramblings from home.
In the meantime, he takes special notice of the dartboard in the immediate area, then signals the ghost to get him the darts. When he gets them, he'll pick one up and aim at the board carefully before throwing it. Just off the bullseye. So close. He frowns a bit again, due to missing the target and the fact that brought up a slight bit of pain in his arm. Of course such a menial activity would make that act up.]
no subject
N-no. You are not a fairy when I saw you, there is no need to feel anxious. But seeing you here, and having seen you back in Inaba with your friends is reassuring. It means my theory that there is a way out is true...
[Mitsuru glanced at Pixy again just minding his own business, it might be best to leave him be
no subject
You mean you don't know? We all get sent back home someday!
[She glances over at Pixy. She's certainly not complaining that he's not contributing to the conversation, given how he reacted whens he told him the same thing.]
So you shouldn't worry, Kirijo-san! We'll both make it back!
[Wait a minute. "Kirijo"? Why does that name sound familiar?]
no subject
Thunk.
Thunk.
Three more darts were thrown and all three were in the general area of the bullseye, but none quite made it on their mark. This aim wasn't gonna do him any good, especially if he ever planned on flying again. Assuming he could, anyway.
He made a brief glance at Rise and Mitsuru as he ignored the increasing pain in his right arm. Turning away from the two again, he carefully aimed a fifth dart and threw it. This time, it hit its mark with another 'thunk'. Right on the bullseye.
He reached up and placed his hand on his hurting arm, letting out a quiet pained sigh as he turned to face the counter again. Taking a drink, he made a quick glance to Rise before closing his eyes.]
You're still soundin' awfully confident about that.
no subject
Pardon me. [Mitsuru said to Rise before turning her attention to Pixy]
Are you not feeling well, Pixy?
no subject
Without even thinking, she interrupts before Pixy can answer Mitsuru.]
Oh, don't even bother. I told him to get his injuries looked at weeks ago, but he just keeps doing stupid things anyway!
no subject
And I told you already that I've seen doctors about it. There's not much else I can do other than waitin' on them to heal, now is there?
no subject
Perhaps I could be of assistance.
[Despite the alcohol starting to have an effect on her, she closed her eyes to concentrate. Her hand slowly reached for the Evoker on her right thigh, but before she could even do so, her Persona - Artemisia - materialized behind her.
It's like the TV world, where she was able to summon her Persona without her Evoker or any special concentration. It must be the magic inside the castle that helped her.
Mitsuru uses Diarahan to heal Pixy, which should heal his injuries completely]
no subject
Except you don't "wait for them to heal", you just keep making it worse!
[Honestly. And he calls her a kid!
But before she can mentally rant to herself even more about Pixy, she catches a glimpse of a familiar blue glow, and then the imposing figure of Artemisia.]
K-Kirijo-san?! You have a Persona too?!
[Well, duh. That's probably why she was talking about them earlier.]
no subject
Are you trying to act like my mother? And in case you didn't notice, I've been in my room ever since we got back from Wonderland.
[He looks back to Mitsuru then when she said something about assistance. What could she possibly do? There wasn't anything to be done save for him to let them heal.
He notices her hand slowly moving, specifically towards that gun at her side, which naturally makes him weary. He keeps calm, though he's ready to reach to his USP at a moment's notice-
But naturally that isn't needed when Artemisia appeared. He stared, looking rather perplexed at the persona's appearance, but then it got stranger. He noticed a weird blue glow about him, and he felt a warmth as the most noticable pain in his arm started to fade away. It wasn't just that pain. He felt far better than he'd felt for the past month, all in one instant.
Pixy was rather confused, looking at his hands before he looked at Artemisia and Mitsuru.]
What was that light?
no subject
And indeed, Kujikawa. I possess the power of a Persona as well, that is how I managed to enter the world inside the TV. I could tell you the whole story some other time. In fact I would need your help in finding our way home, so we should join forces. But first, we need to dry your wings. [Not thinking straight thanks to the booze, Mitsuru flipped her long red hair to slowly remove her fur coat off. Fanservice].
no subject
She doesn't particularly feel like pointing it out, though, so she just watches as Mitsuru's Persona heals Pixy. Wow, that's way better than Rise's own healing ability! It reminds her of Yukiko, really...
And then Mitsuru catches her attention with the mention of the TV world and talking about finding their way home.]
You've been inside the TV too?
[Did something else happen after she was taken here? Whatever that P-1 thing was?
She hadn't caught the part about drying her wings until she saw Mitsuru taking off her fur coat.]
Er, no thanks! I'll be fine in a few minutes, really!
[She doesn't know what the woman plans to do, but the size of that fur coat is enough to make her hope she doesn't.]
no subject
Well, I guess I owe you thanks for that, Kirijo. I wasn't expecting to be over those injuries for another few weeks.
[Of course, then he starts hearing things about 'TV worlds' and his smirk instantly fades and he just gives the two a look that more or less says "What the actual fuck are you talking about"]
I'd say that vodka is gettin' to both of your heads.
no subject
You're more than welcome, Pixy. [Mitsuru smiles at him before turning to face Rise]
And yes, Kujikawa. That is where I met you and your friends. But as I said, we should talk about this some other time. We don't want Pixy here to feel left out now, wouldn't we? [She added that last one with a chuckle.]
no subject
Anyway, she couldn't care less if Pixy feels left out, but whatever.]
We should talk again once I get back to normal, then!
[Not that they can't talk with her as a fairy, but it'd be more convenient as far as getting around the castle.
She also scoots over the counter a bit to touch Mitsuru's fur coat. She just wanted to see if it was as soft as it looked!]
no subject
After taking another drink, he'll pick up the spoon from the counter again and prod Rise in the back with it.]
So are you gonna explain why you're here? Or is the answer simply that you've just taken up to tailing me?
