OPEN LOG: Drunken-induced loss
Who: Zelos and YOU
What: Stupidity caused loss
When: Any point this past week
Where: Library
Rating: PG-13
[Being three-inches tall sucks.]
[It had only taken a day for Zelos to reach that conclusion. He had given up even trying to walk everywhere, as you constantly had to fear being stepped on and every stair was like climbing a cliff. So he resorted to his wings, fluttering around and using the excuse that the castle turned him into a fairy if anyone asked]
[So he had been spending his time doing what he could to avoid people and the journal. Considering the circumstances that had brought on this loss, he figured it was best to lay low for awhile. Buuuut boredom gave way to concern, and the wondering that a loss that was brought on by stupidity (that he is still fuzzy about in memory) is different from a regular loss]
[Which if that's the case? Screw waiting it out because he might be stuck like this forever unless he does something. ]
[Oh and you know, gotta fix those other guys too. Yeah.]
[And thus, if you come into the library you might find what seems to be a small golden glowing light at a distance either hauling books from the shelves that were designated for resident-written things about paradisa or at a table reading the books, trying to page through them to see if there's ANY record of a loss under the same circumstances- though it's incredibly slow because he is smaller than the book. ]

With an armful of said magazines, she goes to find herself a table, when she notices a golden glow that looks strangely familiar for some reason.
Getting closer, she realizes why. It's another fairy in the castle! But is it a fairy like Sugar or someone on a loss? She can't resist investigating.]
Hello?
[She puts down her magazines and peers a little closer at the little person, kind of surprised that it's a guy. All the other fairies, temporary or otherwise, that she's known so far have all been girls.]
What are you reading?
["Trying to read" is the first thought that popped into her head, but she thought that would be rude. And thus not a very good conversation-starter.]
no subject
[Alas this loss is cruel]
Oh- hi!
I'm just reading some old castle stuff. Nothing big.
no subject
Looks very big from where you are.
[She tosses him a wink and a friendly smile, so he'll know she's not trying to make fun of him.]
I should know. I was a fairy for almost three weeks. Everything was big.
no subject
[he looks surprised]
Didn't realize this loss was that common.
no subject
[She chuckles at the thought. Sugar is a very interesting fairy.]
Come to think of it, you are the first guy fairy I've met so far. Unless there were more besides Nora-chan, Aradia-chan and me.
no subject
[.............he's going to guess that's meant to be cutesy and not a stripper name]
Heh, really? Guess I'm just that special~
no subject
[And she's a strange one, too. Sweet and often adorable, but strange.
And Rise could swear that this person was flirting with her just now. Which is cute, but at his size, it's not the kind of cute that would get a serious response. Playful, on the other hand...]
I guess you are!
[She leans on the table and props her head on her arm, to get a better view of the castle's latest fairy.]
So what's your name? I can't go around calling you "the fairy guy" until the loss ends.
[Though she smirks mischievously at the thought.]
no subject
[Interesting. Not sure if he should find this Sugar or not]
Oh right! I'm Zelos!
What's your name, my dear?
no subject
[He is a charming little fairy, isn't he?]
Are you sure you don't want some help?
[These books can't be very easy for someone his size, after all.]
no subject
Welllll, I think I got page turning down, but I could always use the company!
no subject
[Rise smiles and starts flipping through one of the magazines for a moment. But she's still curious about what Zelos is looking at...]
... What kind of old castle stuff?
[Because if there's a way she could have not been a fairy for almost three weeks, she'd be just a little upset that she didn't know about it.]
no subject
Oh just....if there were ever...losses caused by...drunken stupidity, no big!
no subject
[This outburst has nothing to do with Zelos. She's flashing back to the whole King's Game incident that she can only just barely remember but has heard stories about from her friends. And they weren't even drunk!]
Wait, did the castle do this to you because of something you did?
[If so, this is important information to her! She doesn't ever want to be that tiny again!]
no subject
no subject
[Now she starts to wonder what sort of things one could do to make the castle react like that. Because how can she avoid them if she has no idea what they are?]
no subject
no subject
Aw, man. Is there anything in there about how to avoid it yet...?
[Because she doesn't know what you did and therefore hasn't come to the conclusion that "don't be an idiot" is the answer.]
no subject
[he sighs]
no subject
[She idly wonders why everyone calls both the permanent "price" and temporary changes "losses". It seems kind of confusing to her.
But in any case, she tries to be encouraging. After all, she worried about the same thing when she was a fairy.]
I'm sure you'll be back to normal soon, Zelos-kun!
no subject
[He's just overthinking things, again. he really should stop that]
Thanks Rise. You're a pretty nice girl!
no subject
[Rise smiles and giggles quietly at the compliment.]
Now I kinda wish there were cute fairy guys around when I was that size.
[She gives him another playful wink. She just can't resist teasing someone that small, and at least he should know she understands.]
no subject
Well I should grow bigger eventually, if that means anything.
no subject
[She means it, too. Even if the playful flirting leads nowhere, she's always up for making new friends.]
Until then, you can just let me know if you need someone bigger to help you with things.
