Nothing like a day at the movies

Cramped seats, popcorn dripping with butter, sticky floors and drinks that never seem to last through the whole flick. There really is nothing like going to the movies.

Word had spread through the week since Nora had issued her blanket invitation to the castle and the day had finally come for a movie marathon at the theatre. The popcorn was hot and the projector was ready. All that remained was for everyone to show up and pick a movie

"They're showing a lot of them tonight, from what I heard." Blinking over at her for a moment, he then shoots a glance back toward the big screen, wondering when it will come alight with pictures.

"I don't know what ones, but since I haven't really ever seen any of them, it doesn't really matter... right?"

"Probably not. But there are loads and loads of movies out there! What we'll watch isn't even the tip of the iceberg!" And she should know. Back home, she's spent many a night listening to a certain someone ramble about nearly every single one, from the very best to the absolute worst.

"How many are there?" He sounds curious as he moves to set his head in his hands, mulling over the possibilities of what sorts of things people might even make into a movie.

"Oh gosh, more than I could ever count, that's for sure!" It's much easier to keep track of cake mix varieties, in Jane's opinion.

His lone eye widens, the metallic shutters that comprise it blinking shut a few times in awe.

"That many?! I'll probably never get to watch them all..."

He doesn't really know all that much about movies, to be fair, and honestly he doesn't know if he wants to watch every movie. He'll probably be better able to judge something like that once the films actually start!

Jane giggles. "Well no one ever said you have to!" She says. "When you figure out the kinds of movies you like, you can just watch those."

[patching_up]

He seems to relax a little; in hindsight, thinking that he would need to watch every movie was a pretty stupid notion, and he chuckles a bit uncomfortably to himself as he dwells on the idea.

"Okay... yeah. Maybe I'll like some of the ones they're showing tonight."

"I sure hope so! It's a lot more fun when you enjoy what you're watching." With that, Jane stretches and hums. She was in for a long sit, what with all they'd be seeing, and she didn't want to feel achy and sore just yet.
