Nothing like a day at the movies
Who: Nora and ANYONE
What: Start of the movie theatre lock-in loss.
When: Saturday 3/16
Where: The movie theatre
Rating: Oh let's say R for language
Cramped seats, popcorn dripping with butter, sticky floors and drinks that never seem to last through the whole flick. There really is nothing like going to the movies.
Word had spread through the week since Nora had issued her blanket invitation to the castle and the day had finally come for a movie marathon at the theatre. The popcorn was hot and the projector was ready. All that remained was for everyone to show up and pick a movie
((OOC: Before the movies, during the movies, Midnight. Feel free to put up your own sections. Threadjacking encouraged!!))

If she notices the other man standing behind Gren she doesn't comment on it since, well, he looks like a huge downer and they're here to have a good time, right?!

He glanced behind himself, and then back to Nora.
"Oh, hey, by the way - Nora, this is Vicious...the friend I told you about..." he would have worked a wink in there if wouldn't have been completely obvious, "Vicious...this is Nora."

But despite this aberration in his plans, he managed not to scowl, though he certainly didn't look delighted to be there. He nodded slightly to the girl, but said nothing, as much as payback at Gren for showing him off to people as anything else.

She smiles cheerfully, "Yeah it's crazy how little I end up talking to some people. It's just stupid. There's no reason why we shouldn't hang out more often!"

Gren hadn't exactly expected much out of Vicious. The stoic acknowledgement was at least something. All things being equal, he could have ignored her entirely.
"It might have something to do with the castle making us do it that we avoid it the rest of the time. Which, I don't know about you, but maybe it would be better to see people when you're not on a loss or something. Then again, some of us are more anti-social than others."
Speaking of whom...
"Why don't you go grab a seat? I'll be there in a minute," he said to Vicious.

When Gren all but told Vicious to leave she raised an eyebrow. What was this, Gren? You introduced her to your man and now you're telling him to go somewhere else? Curiouser and curiouser. She smiles and nods at Vicious as he leaves before turning her attention back to her friend.
"Yeah I get what you mean. It's like a whole stubbornness thing. 'if you make me do something I'm gonna do whatever I can NOT to do it.' and all that."
no subject
He watched Vicious walk away with a trace of anxiety, then made an apologetic gesture at Nora once he was out of earshot.
"Sorry. He's a man of few words."
He'd had the feeling making Vicious stand there would lead to even more glaring, and he liked Nora enough to spare her his comrade's overt displeasure before it got started. Also it was easier to talk about him without him standing over his shoulder.

Sure it might be rude but the glint in her eyes should be enough to show Gren that she's only teasing. Hey she teased her own boyfriend enough she ought to be able to make fun of someone else's.
no subject
"That's mostly it," he answer with an equally teasing smirk.
"He's just not a people person, really."
no subject
"I got that much. Does he talk to you at least?"
no subject
"Some. And usually not without provoking, but I've had some practice at that. He doesn't generally like to waste time on things that aren't necessary, you know?"
no subject
She might be teasing but she's still smiling warmly at her friend, "Personally I prefer the unnecessary stuff."

"I hope so. Being with a stick in the mud gets kinda old."
