Nothing like a day at the movies
Who: Nora and ANYONE
What: Start of the movie theatre lock-in loss.
When: Saturday 3/16
Where: The movie theatre
Rating: Oh let's say R for language
Cramped seats, popcorn dripping with butter, sticky floors and drinks that never seem to last through the whole flick. There really is nothing like going to the movies.
Word had spread through the week since Nora had issued her blanket invitation to the castle and the day had finally come for a movie marathon at the theatre. The popcorn was hot and the projector was ready. All that remained was for everyone to show up and pick a movie
((OOC: Before the movies, during the movies, Midnight. Feel free to put up your own sections. Threadjacking encouraged!!))

Little does she know that they would be staying in here for a week. A whole WEEK.

"She was your Christmas present," he says with a pointed look. "I consider repairing your gift important. Otherwise it's as if I didn't get you anything for Christmas. What kind of friend wouldn't get their friend something for Christmas, Jane? A terrible one. I don't want to be a fucking terrible friend, so obviously I should fix her as soon as possible, don't you think?" Yeah, he's rambling to cover up the fact that he feels awkward and out of place here.

Besides that, though, the idea of wanting to leave early never crosses her mind. The people here were nice! What part of nice people in a room was ever intimidating?
After a beat, she clears her throat. "If you are taking the time to look her over, though, I...wouldn't mind knowing exactly what went wrong with her. If you happened to notice."

"I think I already know why," he says with a shrug, going back to his orange candy and taking another one into his mouth. "Or at least my theory is that since this place took away your ability to bake, it would do whatever it can to make sure you continue to be unable to do so. Me stepping in and making that 'bot for you pissed it off, so it made Anna malfunction. I already gave her a once over, everything seemed to be in working order. So it's the only thing I can actually think of."
And boy did it piss him off.

Jane listens carefully to Dirk's explanation, and the more he speaks, the more she doesn't like it. Why? Because while it was ridiculous and terrible, in Paradisa it was also completely feasible. Her face definitely shows her displeasure, but it's not a face meant for you, Dirk, and she'll assure you if you ask.
"Of course it would do that," She says, eyes narrowing and arms folded across her chest. "Cheese and crackers! I wish we'd thought of that."
