Who: Katherine and YOU ( Seriously, anyone at all who happens to be awake and wants to run into the kid. )
What: Late night wandering in the castle, possibly continue on to wandering outside.
When: Forward date to Wednesday (3/20) night. As in waaaaay past her bedtime. Whoops.
Where: Anywhere she can go to in the castle and then onto the castle grounds later on.
Rating: G? PG? - Just a kid exploring so I doubt anything more than that would be expected.
[ There had been some nights where she was able to sleep well enough. No dreams to keep her up once she had managed to fall asleep in bed with a book in hand. Or if she did dream, she couldn't remember them in the morning. But there were other nights where her dreams would wake her up and keep her conscious until the very early hours of the morning. Although it might be more accurate to say they were nightmares, not dreams.
This night just so happens to be one of them.
She keeps her journal with her as she leaves her room, only after tugging on her familiar yellow coat and tying her hair back into a messy ponytail. There's a brief pause where she makes sure the door is closed right before she listens for any signs of someone else in the tower being awake. Hearing none Katherine tucks her journal away in her coat and makes her way over to the stairs to lead away from the tower. ]

He looks surprised, but then his face breaks into a big, sunny grin.]
That's the one! You're a friend of Bunny's?

How did you meet North?
no subject
He saved myself and the children in my village. Our bear had been possessed by Pitch and attacked us, but then North came riding in out of nowhere and stopped him.
no subject
[... Why is he not surprised?]
That sounds like North, all right. He's got a great sense of timing.

[ Their most recent encounter when they clashed in the middle of the Earth, while over eight months ago, was still fresh in her memory.
She's grins now. ]
And he knows how to make an entrance as well.

[He hides a hand in the pocket of his hoodie, the other carrying his staff.]
Did North make toys and stuff back then?
no subject
Tooth? Who's that? Are they another Guardian?
[ She had not yet met the Tooth Fairy in her time. ]
Oh yes, he would make things for the other children of Santoff Claussen. And he's made a most marvelous djinni as well!
[ Granted, Pitch also decided to possess the mechanical creation as well, but that's a story for another time. ]

Yeah, she's the Tooth Fairy.
[Jack grins.]
He always makes cool things. What's a djinni?
no subject
[ And as she thought back to it, she grinned. ]
A djinni is a mechanical doll that moves on its own! North is terribly clever and was able to make one.

Really now? You sure there wasn't an elf hiding in it?
