IT'S A BABY-BONANZA!

Good morning, residents! Did you sleep well? You're going to need all the energy you can muster because congratulations: You're parents! Again! The Paradisa Stork has paid some very lucky residents a visit last night, and even moved them to a more kid-friendly environment.

Some of you may already recognize your little bundle of joy and--my, how they've grown! Others will have to get acquainted with their little rugrats. You may not know them, but they certainly know you. By they way? They're bored. And hungry! And they want all the attention you could possibly give them.

It's going to be a long week.

Oh, right. Stephanie. Steph, if you like shortening names. [He seems nice enough.]

And you're...?

Frodo. Frodo Baggins.

I would call you Steph if you don't mind.

Nice to finally get a name, Frodo. [Smiles. Steph is fine.]

I'd shake your hand, but... [Motions to her face. Snot and tears smeared all over :( probably on her hands, too. SORRY, BUNNY...]

[ He chuckles. That's cool. ]

Were the rabbits too charming for your heart to take?

I wish. Let's just say that this whole baby thing makes it very easy to have arguments with your significant other.

The rabbits are very charming, though. It's a lot to take in...

[ He wouldn't know. He doesn't think he could afford a significant other, but his smile stays. ]

I've always wondered how anyone manages to raise children and still keep their good sense.

Seriously. I have no idea. I think all parents are a little bonkers, you know?

[bronwe]

[ He laughs and shrugs. ]

Don't you think all of us are?

Yeah, but parents are a special kind of crazy.

[bronwe]

Are they?

[ He moves to sit more comfortably on the ground, watching her curiously. ]

I never quite knew mine, so it is difficult to imagine being one. But I do have an uncle.

Mine were. I've only got my mom, now, but her crazy has subsided for the most part.

[She sits, too. Another bunny joins them :) ]

I don't know, though. It's all just speculation.

[ He grins and pets this one too. Gotta spread the love. ]

What is your child like?

Tiny and cute. I don't know how much personality a six month old or so can have, unfortunately.

[Not that she got to interact with him much before storming out.]

But if the child is anything like his mother.

[ That's a compliment, Steph. Soak it up. ]

Are you trying to flatter me, Mr. Baggins? [It's working.]

[bronwe]

Flattery implies exaggeration! And I should ask you to call me Frodo.

Frodo. You're not exaggerating?

[bronwe]

[ He smiles. ]

Perhaps a little.

[secondchances]

Definitely acceptable, lucky for you.

Is your child asleep?

[secondchances]

[She has no idea.]

I think so. He's with "dad" for now.

[bronwe]

You don't seem pleased.

Just residual upset...ness. [NO SHE'S STILL UPSET]
