IT'S A BABY-BONANZA!

Good morning, residents! Did you sleep well? You're going to need all the energy you can muster because congratulations: You're parents! Again! The Paradisa Stork has paid some very lucky residents a visit last night, and even moved them to a more kid-friendly environment.

Some of you may already recognize your little bundle of joy and--my, how they've grown! Others will have to get acquainted with their little rugrats. You may not know them, but they certainly know you. By they way? They're bored. And hungry! And they want all the attention you could possibly give them.

It's going to be a long week.

[That was part of why he didn't bring it up. He didn't want to hurt her feelings any further, but she pushed for him to share his thoughts. ]

Me too. [Pauses, rolling onto his other side to look a her. ]

[Smiles a little, though she doesn't quite meet his eyes.]

Is that everything that made you want to check out into dreamland?

That and I don't like there being distance between the two of us. I want us to help each other get through this, not make it more challenging. [Going in for a cuddle unless she protests. ]

[It takes a lot for her to decline cuddles, so there's no resistance here.]

I'm not planning on going anywhere.

I meant more emotional distance between the two of us. [This is not how the two of them normally interact with each other, but this is also not their normal circumstances.]

I'm not planning on going anywhere emotionally, either. I'm right here.

I promise I am going to start making some changes. Real, noticible changes in the next couple of weeks.

[There is no reason for him to be lonely. Not when he has two people around who love him as much as Steph. And he is the one who is keeping secrets from everyone else at Paradisa. If he wants to be a part of a team, he needs to start trusting more. ]

You make it sound like you're a mess.

In some ways, I really have it together. In other ways...[Lets the sentence trail off. ]

I know I can work through all of this. I've worked through a lot in the past, but I have also isolated myself in the process. I don't want to do that. If I don't want to go back to those behaviors, then I need to think differently. Which is why I'm telling you all these things.

No isolating allowed.

I remember when you first brought it up, I thought you were overreacting. After everything that happened with the Titans, I thought I was over doing that.
