[This is gonna be a long week for Mitsuru and Larry. They were suddenly burdened in taking care of a girl who thinks they are her parents. To make things worse, she really does look like the both of them, and both adults have matching wedding rings!

Awkward. But the two friends(?) decided to play along the Castle's current prank and actually act like a married couple on a vacation. These are their shenanigans. Dun dun]

[But while taking a drink from his glass, he hears Mariko and just -stops-. He lowered the glass and gave her a puzzled look, briefly looking at Mitsuru before back at Mariko again.]

[Mariko lowered her head, poking her pasta with the fork. It seems she barely had time to spend with her parents or do anything fun based on the sadness etched on her face...]

[Well, he wasn't aiming to make her feel bad. And the 'summer vacation' thing was sure new to him. Luckily quick thinking was a speciality of a pilot. He'll lightly shrug. So long as he keeps the subject away from him taking Mitsuru on a date...]

I was joking, kid.

[He'll actually reach over and ruffle her hair. The kid wouldn't get a break if she was bent on becoming a pilot, but he'll not tell her that.]

I'd sooner take you back to the simulator than be the one to make you study.
