► Chapitre 7.5
Who: Larry Foulke, Mitsuru Kirijo, and their daughter Mariko
What: Various events-
When: -during the Baby Plot week
Where: Sunny Skies Family Retreat
Rating: PG?
[This is gonna be a long week for Mitsuru and Larry. They were suddenly burdened in taking care of a girl who thinks they are her parents. To make things worse, she really does look like the both of them, and both adults have matching wedding rings!
Awkward. But the two friends(?) decided to play along the Castle's current prank and actually act like a married couple on a vacation. These are their shenanigans. Dun dun]

I'm almost surprised even a rare cabernet was suitable for your tastes.
[Why yes, that was a small dig at your rich status, Mitsuru. But at least his tone was enough to mean it wasn't an insult.]

Who would have thought I'd have had the opportunity to have tasted something refined enough for someone like you? I suppose I should be humbled.

Dad, you should take mom on a date!

I think Kirijo and I have had enough with theaters for a while.
[Ugh, lock-in memories.]

And why are you calling mommy "Kirijo"?

[Which... really it was kind of funny in hindsight, but at the time, well. Not so much.
...wait, shit, she caught that. Think fast!]
Just a slip of the tongue is all. Old habits, you know.
[He just shrugs calmly. Nailed it.]

Shouldn't you concentrate more on those studies of yours than us going on a date?
[Totally pulled the Mitsuru card.]

She's totally turned on by that right now]Y-Yes, Mariko. Your father is right.

[Mariko lowered her head, poking her pasta with the fork. It seems she barely had time to spend with her parents or do anything fun based on the sadness etched on her face...]

I was joking, kid.
[He'll actually reach over and ruffle her hair. The kid wouldn't get a break if she was bent on becoming a pilot, but he'll not tell her that.]
I'd sooner take you back to the simulator than be the one to make you study.

Yes, you should spend this time to have fun. I'm sure your father was only kidding.
2/2
[She just doesn't seem to ship it, but it looks like she's worried about their relationship going south]

He'll flash a quick glance to Mitsuru before waving his hand, managing a laugh. Sorry, Mitsuru.]
Alright, alright, if that's what you really want.
[...maybe this'll be over before he's obligated to go through with that 'date' thing.]

[Mariko smiled. Yep, she is feeling like a boss right now, even though her plot is so obvious to her parents]

You know we'd have to find a babysitter for you first.

[Mariko is just now minding her own business and finishing her meal]
