► Chapitre 7.5
Who: Larry Foulke, Mitsuru Kirijo, and their daughter Mariko
What: Various events-
When: -during the Baby Plot week
Where: Sunny Skies Family Retreat
Rating: PG?
[This is gonna be a long week for Mitsuru and Larry. They were suddenly burdened in taking care of a girl who thinks they are her parents. To make things worse, she really does look like the both of them, and both adults have matching wedding rings!
Awkward. But the two friends(?) decided to play along the Castle's current prank and actually act like a married couple on a vacation. These are their shenanigans. Dun dun]

Afternoon - Their room
Meanwhile, Mitsuru is doing something she normally doesn't: cleaning the house. Clearly she's not looking very pleased doing the housework since her "husband" is injured. Unknown to her, he's in the shower. Uh-oh]

For the time being, he's content with sitting on the shower floor with his leg stretched out while just letting the water hit him. If he'd just gotten shot in the shoulder, things wouldn't have been so bad, but his leg was going to take way too long to recover. And he REALLY wasn't a fan of having to use that damn crutch.
...but at least when he got yanked out of the clinic, the castle was at least kind enough to supply one. He had to give it that, at least. It was better than dragging his leg everywhere.]

If nothing else, he's tugging the shower curtain closed slightly more and rolling his eyes.]
Is knocking something you rich folk don't believe in?
no subject
Wha- I- I-
[Mitsuru's face turns bright red]
no subject
You gonna stand there all day or are you going to fill me in on what you're doing in here?
[He would also like to know how she didn't hear the running water, but he'll leave that one go for a bit.]
no subject
I was going to replace the towels. I will be out of your way soon. My apologies!
[Mitsuru ran to the door and quickly shuts it behind her. She sighed and decided to not think of that encounter again. That was so disgraceful... This week seems to want to expose another side of Mitsuru, it seems]
no subject
...if nothing else, awkward as it was, it was amusing in an odd sort of way. If only because of seeing that other side of her.]
Daytime - Wherever
Mariko is just sitting on a stool near the couch where Larry is sleeping. Just watching her dad sleep because that's not creepy]
no subject
He would eventually stir and open his eyes, seeing the note almost immediately. He'll reach up and take it in his hand before looking over, looking only slightly surprised when he saw Mariko sitting there and staring at him.]
You make a habit out of watching people sleep, kid?
no subject
You have pretty eyes! [:3]
no subject
that he's not being paid for, damn it.]Look who's talking.
[God this feels so weird. But he'll turn his attention to the note and go over it. MAN, that passive aggressive affection is really seeping through, it's almost hilarious. But take a day off? From what? It's not like she's been doing a majority of the damn parenting work or anything. If she means anything else that he HASN'T been doing, well, it's not HIS fault he got shot in the leg. Geez.]
Guess it's just you and me for the day, kid.
no subject
[She grabbed Eagle-kun and hugs him tightly, waiting for a response from her dad. She's clearly looking forward to spend some time with just him]
no subject
Though seeing her holding Eagle-kun would at least give him an idea. His leg would hate him for it later (as if it's not hating him already), but he'd might as well see if the kid is interested.]
Since that nagging mother of yours isn't around to make you do homework, I can always take you to the simulator. Get a head start on your training if you really want to become a pilot.
no subject
Really?! Oh yay! I want to fly with you, Dad!
[Mariko squeezed Eagle-kun even tighter, if it was alive it would have suffocated]
no subject
Don't get too cocky, nugget. You gotta prove yourself to fly on my wing first.
[Only not really. He'd probably let her fly a mission or two solo before he'd join her by default anyway. He can't teach her to fly if he's flying with her.]

Come on, Dad!

Evening - Their room
She served up some bowls full of food to each person. Mariko's bowl is the same size as theirs, but if she can't finish it, there's Larry to eat the rest. Mitsuru can't mess with her perfect weight, so she's not eating more than what she has. And wouldn't you know it, she has a bottle of Chateau Boloise!]
Re: Evening - Their room
Thanks a million for these, Kirijo-san! I'll see you around later! And I'm glad Weiss is alright! Okay, I'm leaving for real now, bye!
[The door closes]

[Mariko waves while twirling her pasta with a fork]
no subject
Chateau Boloise, huh? Guess Rise delivered it to you after all.
[Not that he doubted her, but... well. Okay, maybe he did a little.]

I'm almost surprised even a rare cabernet was suitable for your tastes.
[Why yes, that was a small dig at your rich status, Mitsuru. But at least his tone was enough to mean it wasn't an insult.]

Who would have thought I'd have had the opportunity to have tasted something refined enough for someone like you? I suppose I should be humbled.
