► Chapitre 7.5
Who: Larry Foulke, Mitsuru Kirijo, and their daughter Mariko
What: Various events-
When: -during the Baby Plot week
Where: Sunny Skies Family Retreat
Rating: PG?
[This is gonna be a long week for Mitsuru and Larry. They were suddenly burdened in taking care of a girl who thinks they are her parents. To make things worse, she really does look like the both of them, and both adults have matching wedding rings!
Awkward. But the two friends(?) decided to play along the Castle's current prank and actually act like a married couple on a vacation. These are their shenanigans. Dun dun]

Don't get too cocky, nugget. You gotta prove yourself to fly on my wing first.
[Only not really. He'd probably let her fly a mission or two solo before he'd join her by default anyway. He can't teach her to fly if he's flying with her.]

Come on, Dad!
no subject
Slow down there, kid. Get Weiss ready to go with us, I'll be ready in a minute.

[Mariko runs to her room to pick Weiss up. The dog was apparently too lazy to get up that Mariko literally dragged him out of the room. Weiss' expression is half groggy to half "no more walking"]
no subject
Looks like you're gonna have to carry him.
no subject
I can't, he's too heavy! [Dx]
no subject
You don't have a wagon or something, do you, kid?
no subject
[Mariko puts her index finger on her lip to think]
I doooo
[Mariko runs back to her room to get a red wagon full of books. But she just gently sets them aside and lifted Weiss high enough to be put to the wagon]
no subject
We'll work on getting your strength up later. I'll settle on taking you to the simulator for now.
no subject
[Mariko was stuggling to get Weiss' butt end to the wagon, and the dog was just wearing the same expression]
no subject
It shouldn't have been that hard, kid.

He'll give her a smirk while setting the crutch back on the floor, then opening the door.]
After you, flight lead.
no subject
[Mariko ran to the door while giggling, with a lazy Weiss in tow]

He'll head out after her- to the little castle portal and to the main castle's lobby elevator. A timeskip later, lo and behold! They're at the Game Room.
He'll nod over towards the Aerial Fighter games.]
Over there, kid.
no subject
Once they got to the game room, Mariko's eyes widened with excitement. She gasps in awe of the bright lights and the funky video game sounds]
Woooow!
[When her dad pointed to the Aerial Fighter machine, she nods obediently and skipped her way towards it, still having Weiss in tow]
no subject
When she skips over to the game, he'll wander over behind her- reaching over and setting the game up on Normal mode since he wasn't about to let her have the luxury of 'Easy' mode. This game must not have been played often or there were other 'aces' around, seeing that the game's difficulty was still on Ace mode when he set it...
He'll look at her and wave a hand to the seat, complete with a typical cockpit setup.]
Think you can manage learning the controls yourself, nugget?
no subject
[Mariko jumps on the cockpit-styled seat. She waved her legs and stared at the big bright screen in front of her]
no subject
Time to dive into the fireworks.
no subject
[Mariko got her hands on the controls with an excited smile on her face]
no subject
Bandits at twelve o'clock.
no subject
Oh no!
[She managed to lock-on one of the enemy fighters and fired a missile at it. She knows the controls alright, but she's still slow]
no subject
Keep an eye on your radar, there's a bandit on your tail.
no subject
I got 'im!
no subject
Pay careful attention to your surroundings, kid. You're going to have to get better reaction time than that. If an enemy ace catches on, you're gonna get yourself shot down.
[He's criticizing her performance, but at least he's doing it nicely- trying to keep up the 'fatherly educating' thing. And he is giving her benefit of the doubt because there's probably a learning curve to going from controller to flightstick. ...but she's still slow.]
