It was about time Steph put a little extra effort out there for Cass. She'd been all over the place lately, and it had to be hard on the girl that thought she was dead not too long ago. She'd promised a lot of fun things, but some of those fun things needed planning--like a beach day. So, for now, she'd have to improvise.

And that's why there was an assortment of fruits, candies, syrups, and sprinkles set out on the counter. Steph was trying to be quiet, taking the ice cream tubs out of the bag and sneak them into the freezer, but the paper was annoyingly loud in the quiet home.

This was supposed to be a surprise. Grr.

It's... weird, seeing that in Stephanie. She likes being treated like Steph would treat Tim though, it lets her indulge the little hopes she knows she really needs to not indulge. She closes her eyes, leaning into Steph's touch.

A little bit of pretending is okay.

"Do you think about me... when you're with Tim?"

Does this go both ways?

Uh. She's wondering if Cass means to ask what it almost sounds like she means to ask, but Steph figures she better ask for clarification, anyway.

"What do you mean? Like, when we're out?"

"When you're this way. You thought... of him, just now." It seems like a normal thing to ask, to Cass.

"Oh, because I always play with his hair like this," she says, sliding her fingers through Cass' hair again. She can't say she ever thinks of Cass when laying the mushy affection on Tim, but she doesn't really think about much aside from him in those moments.

"Sometimes, when we lay in bed and talk, we talk about you. Good stuff, of course," she smiles, trying to communicate that Cass isn't ever too far from her thoughts.

There's a grin forming on her lips before she can stop it. Stephanie and Tim talking of her in bed? That's kind of amusing. It's not meant that way though, Cass is pretty sure of that.

Although considering some of the things that Tim's body language says when he's not paying close attention... No, they probably talk about how she's settling in, the friends she's trying to make. But now she wants specifics, so she opens her eyes before asking. Gotta interpret her right, after all.

"What stuff?"

Cass isn't wrong. Steph smirks before reaching to cover Cass' eyes with her hands. No reading her!

"That's private bedroom talk!"

Cass laughs softly and takes hold of Steph's wrists, pulling them away and then pinning them to the bed, rolling so she's on her hands and knees over Steph and holding her down. Can't escape now, Stephanie.

"Should know... if I'm part of bedroom talk. Only fair."

Cass is such a cheater. Stephanie laughs and squirms, though she's not really putting up much of a fight.

"What do you think we talk about, huh?"

She'll never quit cheating, either. She shrugs, but doesn't let Steph up.

"Wouldn't ask, if... I could guess. Tell. Or else..." She move so she can hold both of Steph's wrists with one hand, the other moving to press against her side with the threat of tickling.

Her weakness. One of them, anyway. Steph inhales sharply.

"Never. Do your worst."

Probably not the best idea to challenge someone who can tell exactly where your most ticklish spot is, Stephanie.

"My worst?" Her fingers walk up Steph's side and then over her stomach, eyes trained on her to tell where to start. "Sure that's... what you want?"

Oh, that makes her nervous. But she has a few things up her sleeve.

"I drank like two milkshakes, Cass."

Her bladder isn't exactly empty.

She makes a face. Gross.

"Better tell, then." And then she grins because AHAH, there it is. Steph's most ticklish spot. Fingers dig in and tickle, her other hand still securely holding Steph down.

Do her worst? She's definitely going to.

Steph immediately tries to curl up, like one of those little pill bugs, with little success. Curses.

"Hah--if I pee, you have to clean it up! Cass!" She's not even sure why this is happening anymore. All she knows is that she's the victim of a tickle attack and her eyes are starting to water.

"Nope. Not my bed." Her bed will be clean and pee-free, thank you very much. She keeps tickling, grinning as she goes. It's a very unfair fight, which just makes it even more amusing.

"Tell. Tell what- you say, about me!"

"Iwillifyoubribemeandstopticklingmeahaha," Steph rolls back and forth as little as she's allowed, laughing and not really doing a lot of normal breathing.

She's still not stopping though, not until she gets an answer!

"Bribe, huh? Not in position- to make demands!"

"Then you'll never know!" There are tears, now, but they're from laughing too hard.

Grinning like crazy, Cass finally takes her hand away and wipes Stephanie's eyes. No tears please, even if they're happy ones.

"Tell now. Otherwise, tickling forever."

She wheezes when the assault on her ticklish spot ceases. Phew. Give her a moment to recover.

Then, with a grin, she spills the beans.

"I don't know how to tell you this, Cass, but we talk about how you're smelly!"

Oh, she can never be serious, can she? Steph already knows she's doomed, but she tries to scramble away anyway.

Cass tackles her back down, both hands on her sides to tickle her now.

"Extra tickling, for lying. Should know better." And then something comes to her that Cass thinks is incredibly hilarious. "Besides, you're one- with spoil in name!"

See what she did there? You're the one that smells, Stephanie.

Not anymore, Steph wants to argue, but she's too busy laughing.

"Hey!" She shrieks, and since Cass' hands are busy tickling her, she tries to tickle her back!

She'll probably always be Spoiler first for Cass, not because she doesn't deserve the title of Batgirl because she absolutely does. It's just that it's hard to adjust to the idea that there are two of her when for so long, Cass' name was Batgirl more than her name was Cassandra. She just got used to it, she feels like Batgirl.

Plus, Stephanie has only ever been Stephanie or Spoiler. It's just a comfortable thing, to say those names.

And if she wanted to, Cass is pretty sure she could just ignore the tickling. It can't be that much different from blocking out pain, but she doesn't want to do that with this. She laughs when Steph starts in, but doesn't stop her own tickling.

"Should know- will never win! Just give up!"

"You should know, I never give up! We're going to be stuck here forever!" She'd sort of like to see Tim's face, though. This is what happens when you leave Batgirls to their own devices.

Outside of the room, is one Tim Drake with a pet leashed up in each hand. Ace is on the right and Sansa is on the left.

All three of them glance at the door, hearing the laughter. Motions for the two animals to stay still, while he nudges open the door to see what's going on.
