Yasashii nihon no joochan yo...

Who: Rise Kujikawa and OPEN
What: A possibly familiar little girl, barely old enough for grade school, is wandering around the castle unsupervised. What do?
When: Today!
Where: The castle grounds, lobby, Four Seasons beach, Music Room - any of Rise's favorite places!
Rating: PG-ish?

[Well, it's been a few days now. Rise hoped she'd only be this small for her birthday and the castle would give up on its latest little prank. But after a day or two of going back and forth between sticking close to a convenient friend (new or otherwise) or sulking alone somewhere, it's getting really boring not going out when she wants just because she's not as big as she should be. She's even been a fairy before, and that never stopped her!

... Though, at least she could fly then. Having to run around everywhere makes the castle somehow seem even bigger now, against all logic. And no matter where she goes, everything looks different.

Before she knows it, a quick trip outside of her own room has become a full-blown exploration of the entire castle. From the hallways, to the grounds, to some of her favorite rooms to visit. She's not exactly alone, but not everyone notices such a small child running around.

... Of course, someone probably will sooner or later.]

Aah! Ha-ha!

[Chie just laughed when rise splashed some water at her face. In which, of course, she retaliated]

Aha! Get some!

[Rise yelps and tries to turn away, but that just ends with soaking wet hair covering her face. But she's actually laughing now.]

No fair!!!

[Chie can make much bigger splashes than she can!]

There are no rules in heeeelllll!! [Chie just splashed Rise some more, all while giggling at Rise's tiny splashes]

[With another giggleshriek, Rise seems to decide the splash war is futile and scrambles to swim out of range!]

[And Chie just followed and watch little!Rise's slow retreat]

Hey, where do you think you're going?

[By now, Rise figures she might as well play along. No reason to ruin a day at the beach just because someone else happened to be there.

Giggling, she does her best (joking) impression of Shiori's childish tone.]

You're supposed to catch me!

[That's a perfect impression of their little girl!]

Alright then! C'mere!

[Chie swam towards Rise, who got away pretty fast thanks to the waves. Chie laughed and spreads her arms wide to wrap her arms around Rise.]

Gotcha!

[Rise screams, squirming and kicking her legs! Playfully, that is.]

Lemme go!!!

[Her attempts to free herself would be much more convincing if she'd just stop giggling so much. She can't help it!]

[Chie laughs and giggles with Rise, spinning her around]

[Rise's laughing too hard to speak... both because of the silliness of the whole thing and because it's actually kinda fun?

At least until she starts getting dizzy. She shouts through little giggling fits.]

Okay, okay! Enough spinning!!!

[Which of course Chie listened and she stopped. She looked at her watch and didn't realize they were in that room for more than she thought]

Whew! Hahaha. I'm getting hungry, are you feeling hungry Rise-chan?

[Whew indeed! Still a little dizzy from all the spinning, Rise instinctively clings to Chie to keep herself stable. All that laughing was taking a lot out of her too! So she answers a bit breathlessly.]

Yeah, kinda...!

Okay! Let's get dressed and go to town. I don't know 'bout you but wishing for food doesn't really feel... right. Come on, it'll be my treat!

[Rise's cuteness triggers Chie's Papa instincts, so she's being pretty generous. She grabbed her gym bag to go get dressed]

[Rise doesn't really have any problem with wishing for food - or anything else, really. But if Chie's offering... she really doesn't get out of the castle much. So she nods in agreement.]

Okay...

[Besides, now that her defenses are kind of shattered, she doesn't have as much of a problem letting herself tag along with the "grownup"... not that she's actually thinking of it that way. In her mind, she's just being practical, letting Chie carry her around until the world is spinning a little less.]

[Chie was humming while she slung her bag over her shoulder]

Oh yeah, where's your stuff?

Oh, right! Um...

[Rise looks around the beach a bit before pointing in a direction. At a cutesy little pink and white bag. The castle's really been messing with her wishes this week... ~~though if you just take away the little cartoon characters it's something Rise would normally use.~~]

Over there!

[Chie grabbed the bag and slung it on her other shoulder. Now that's good, she walked to where they're gonna be changing clothes]

You think you could walk on your own now? The spinning must have made you very dizzy!

Only 'cause you were spinning so fast!

[She's kind of chuckling to herself even as she says it, though. So much for being convincing.]

But yeah, I think I'm okay.

[She may or may not just be jumping at the chance to have some independence again. It's still hard being so tiny, okay?]

Okay

[Chie gently puts Rise down, watching her tiny feet make contact with the sand]

[And Rise is a bit unsteady for a second, but seems perfectly fine! Though she does instinctively grab Chie's hand just in case... it'd be both embarrassing and uncomfortable falling on her face into the sand...

Pretty soon, they make it to the changing rooms. Since Chie's carrying the bags, Rise rushes forward to open the door, inadvertently tugging at Chie's arm a bit.]

[Chie smiled and gives a little amused laugh as she watched Rise look so much like Shiori. She may not show it as much, but she was proud of that little girl, and she doesn't realize that she loves Shiori like a real daughter...

Chie puts the bags on the floor, unzipping them to grab a towel and dry herself]

Ahh! That was fun. We should do that more often!

[Chie then unties her swimsuit, not feeling ashamed around her friend. What? It's not like they haven't seen each other buck naked before]

[Rise grabs her own towel, drying off a bit before stripping out of her own swimsuit. Even looking like she does now, it's no big deal with Chie.]

Just don't get used to me being this small!

[Yeah, she's actually feeling comfortable enough to joke about it now. It's not like she'll be this way forever!

Though she does get an envious little twinge as she notices Chie's looking a little... curvier? More matured? She doesn't even know. It could just be her new perspective. But, to Rise, she definitely looks more womanly than last time they saw each other in the nude...

... It kind of makes her blush and turn away this time. She's really not used to that feeling!

At least it'll probably go away once she's back to normal...]

[Chie glanced at Rise who was looking away]

Hey, don't be shy. You'll be back to normal before you know it! And we could do this again! It's too bad I won't get to spin you around again.

[But she could probably still carry her. Chie puts on some underwear and puts some casual clothes on. They're definitely more stylish than her (in the words of that bitch Ai) "frumpy" clothes thanks to her friend and mentor Kate]

You ready?

Sh-shut up!

[But Rise laughs. Even if it is a bit embarrassing actually thinking about letting Chie carry her around, it's been kind of fun! She never really had a big sister or older cousins to play with when she was little...]

Well, last time my loss lasted a few weeks, so you might get another chance! [She gives Chie a playful smirk. She's teasing, but she really surprisingly doesn't mind being physically treated like a kid while she is one. At least Chie knows she's still the same Rise.

As she finishes getting dressed in one of her child-sized outfits, she gives Chie an approving look.]

Heey, lookin' good, Chie-chan!

[She sounds less like a perky teen idol and more like a precocious baby sister, but the half-teasing half-appreciative tone is definitely pure Rise.]

Maybe once I'm back to normal we can trade style tips! [And the trademark Risette wink.]

Heh-heh... Thanks! [Chie blushed. Getting a compliment from an idol means a lot to Chie] And I would like that. Sounds like fun!

Anyway, you ready? I'm getting hungrier by the second! [Chie extends a hand to Rise for her to hold]
