Let it grow, let it grow
Who: Martel and you!
What: Planting flowers in the garden.
When: Today!
Where: Outside in the garden
Rating: ...T, just to be safe?
Martel was out in the garden on her down time, and for once she wasn't playing her panpipes. No, she had decided the garden needed some more flowers. And not just any flowers. The fandalia flowers she had gotten from home for Christmas had flourished in her room, and were growing out of their large pot. So Martel had taken it upon her to take a good portion of them out to the courtyard and into the garden. She intended to plant them by the truffula tree, and hopefully they would grow around it into a field of white fandalia flowers. She had also brought her Oddish out, who was currently pretending to be a plant in the corner. Every so often it moved and made a noise, but otherwise it stood silent, soaking up the rays of the sun.
She had just dug a small hole, and was placing a few of the flowers into the hole, covering it up with dirt. Then she stood up, looking around and spoke mostly to herself:
"I suppose I can spread them out a bit, to make sure they do grow."

He notices the flowers at Martel's feet, and her dirtied hands.
"Are you planting?"

"And you got them for Christmas? From one of your friends, or the castle?"

She pauses.
"But once you do, you find entire fields of them, glowing."

Tsuna could imagine it, standing among a field of glowing flowers. He gives a small smile, then looks up at Martel.
"It sounds really pretty."

He rises to a stand.
"So, how have you been, Martel? I haven't seen you in awhile."
He hasn't seen her since he went outside while recovering from the world change. Looking at him now, you would've never thought he'd experienced such a terrible thing.

He gives a sigh, and sits down on the ground. "I told Reborn I'd practice so I could fight without my powers, too, but... I mean, really, how much can I do with a tiny dagger, anyway? I'm probably better off sticking to my powers and not getting in the way."

Martel looks over at him with a little smile on her face. "Maybe you can come with me next time?"

"... I guess I could do something like that," he murmurs, then gives a small sigh. "I mean, Reborn and Zelos would be pretty disappointed if I stopped altogether. And I have to find some way to be useful."

He falls back, pillowing his head with his arms, staring up at the sky.
"I just want to help out somehow."
no subject
"I think you just need to find what works best for you."

Tsuna watches the clouds drifting by, his gaze softening thoughtfully.
"... I wonder how everyone is back at home. It's been so long since I've seen them..." He gives a sigh. "Well, I guess they're not feeling much of anything if time's stopped there, like people say it is..."
