[lara_the_explorer]

What: Lara's arrival to Paradisa

Where: Woods near the Castle Grounds/Infirmary

In the middle of the woods, one could hear rustling bushes and some branches snapping as a female figure in the dark is running with a torch in hand.

"Sam! Reyes! Jonah!" the woman called out. "Shit... What is this place? I could have sworn we got out of that island..."

She looks battered, bruised, and armed with two mismatched handguns on her thigh holsters. She looks like she's been through hell and back, with dried blood, torn clothes and a thousand-yard stare. She doesn't even care about possible wolves, with what she's been through, wolves don't scare her anymore. She just wants to find her friends.

And after a minute of walking, she could see already the exterior of the castle from a distance. Not sure about what's in there, so she grabbed her gun and headed towards the castle grounds...

"Ahh!" Chihiro can't help the surprised yell that comes from her when she hears that cry of pain.

"P-Please be careful...!! You'll hurt yourself more if you try something like that again!"

[lara_the_explorer]

"Shit!" Lara moves her palm across her face in frustration. "I need to get out of here..."

[xss]

"U-Um..." Oh no there goes any and all assertiveness. Time to try and scourge a bit more back up.

"N-No, I think... I think you need to focus on getting better first..."

[lara_the_explorer]

"It looks like I have no other choice" Lara shakes her head and lied down with a pained grunt. She lets out a long sigh once she's lying down. Lara puts her hands over her eyes as a sign of her frustration for being stuck in this place.

Well this is a bit awkward.

But at least she's not exerting herself anymore for Chihiro is relieved!

"Uh... my name is Chihiro Fujisaki... what's yours?"

It'd only be polite, right?

"...Lara Croft"

She glanced at the girl after she answered her question.

"Where are you from Japan?"

"It's nice to meet you Lara-san." Even if it could be under better circumstances.

"That's right... And yourself? American or...?"

[lara_the_explorer]

"I'm from England" Lara smiled with a pride, it seems. "I was just in Yokohama. I've actually been studying on ancient Japanese culture before all this"

[xss]

"Really?" That makes her bright up a little, even if she isn't as familiar with her own ancient culture as maybe she'd like to be, it's still pretty cool to meet someone from a different place interested in your country. "Do you do a lot of travelling and studying?"

[lara_the_explorer]

"I do. I went to a lot of places all over the world. But my recent time in Japan is my first archaeological expedition. The first official one, at least"

"Wow! That sounds amazing! I travel sometimes too because of my work but never on things like that...!"

[lara_the_explorer]

"Work? I'm not well-read in the Japanese labor laws but aren't you too young to even have a part-time job?"

[xss]

"O-Oh, I'm sorry... I guess that did sound off..."

"It's not a part time job-- I'm actually quite renowned as a programmer..." She says with a hint of embarrassment. She just hopes it doesn't sound like bragging.

Wow, she must be some kind of child prodigy to be a renowned programmer at that age.

"How did you become a renowned programmer at your age? That's is quite the feat"
