Expedition Log 1

Who: Lara Croft and YOU
What: Lara's arrival to Paradisa
When: June 12.
Where: Woods near the Castle Grounds/Infirmary
Rating: PG-R for language

In the middle of the woods, one could hear rustling bushes and some branches snapping as a female figure in the dark is running with a torch in hand.

"Sam! Reyes! Jonah!" the woman called out. "Shit... What is this place? I could have sworn we got out of that island..."

She looks battered, bruised, and armed with two mismatched handguns on her thigh holsters. She looks like she's been through hell and back, with dried blood, torn clothes and a thousand-yard stare. She doesn't even care about possible wolves, with what she's been through, wolves don't scare her anymore. She just wants to find her friends.

And after a minute of walking, she could see already the exterior of the castle from a distance. Not sure about what's in there, so she grabbed her gun and headed towards the castle grounds...

[The Doc presses the tip of the hypospray to her neck and a small hiss sounds as the medication is injected through the skin. No pain, and a few seconds later, Lara should feel the pain relief.]

Please remain still, it's only a painkiller.

[Tricorder out again, trying to source out particular bones that are broken.]

A hypospray releases the medication via the dermal layer of your skin. No needles, no pain.

What exacctly is broken?

I have no doubt.

Keep still a bit longer, you have a few broken bones. I'm going to treat them

[So much frowning.]

You look worse than Lt. Torres after she's partaken in a Klingon Fighting simulation.

You're going to be out of action for a while, I'm afraid.

A few weeks, at the least. You have quite a few broken bones. Notably, your shoulders, hips and a few ribs. Walking is the last thing you want to do.

[Gathering together supplies.]

Klingons are a warrior-race who live for battle and honour. Quite poetic in some ways, annoying patients in some others. Their tempers can be a little short.

There aren't any that I've met, and someone from the Federation arriving would have had them curious, at least.

My home universe has quite a few factions. One of which is the United Federation of Planets.

[He's going to begin wrapping.]

[And the Doc works deftly to wrap Lara up without causing any further damage.

He's very good.]

I wouldn't worry too much about the specifics for now. I prescribe bed rest. Your hormonal scale is off the charts.

If you need anything, just call.

[At least she's being pleasant about it. The Doc dislikes patients who make a fuss.]
