"Heeeeeeey."

Sometimes it's hard to find Tim, and sometimes it's too easy. When she does catch him today, she sidles up to him with the cutest smile she can manage.

This crap with Cass and Tim has gone on for way too long. Neither of them seemed to be even trying to talk it out, so it was up to her to play mediator and at least nudge Tim in the right direction.

"I'll give you a couple of points for that, but you still need to make up for one of the points." Tilts his head just enough to allow their noses to touch.

[secondchances]

She sighs.

"Fine," and with so much effort, she tilts her head so their lips meet.

"There. Do I have my points back?"

[dorkwonder]

"Not even close." Taps her on the nose.

[secondchances]

It's nice to just joke around and be playful with only a few things looming overhead. Stephanie grins, then tries to look as clueless as possible.

"... no? But it was a kiss!"

[dorkwonder]

Speaking of things looming overhead, in a few days it will be their five month anniversary. THEY WILL CELEBRATE ONE OF THEM.

Hopefully.

"That was more of a quick peck, it doesn't count."

[secondchances]

"You need to be more specific, handsome. If you wanted a make out session, you just had to ask," she tugs on his ear, just to be a brat, before kissing him. She takes her time, resting her head back against the sofa.

It's at least a ten point quality kiss.

Tim's about to respond with some more banter when suddenly...an amazing kiss is sent his way. Melts into the kiss, closing his eyes over and moaning softly. This is just the kind of kiss he needed to shake off the tension that has been piling up all week.

Aw, yeah. Stephanie laughs in her head. All the points are now hers. She lets the kiss continue as long as he'll let it, glad to help him relax--there's always something on Tim's mind, arguments or no.

[dorkwonder]

This is probably the first time all week Tim's mind hasn't been preoccupied with several thoughts at once. For the time being, the only thing on his mind is Steph.

"Better?"

[dorkwonder]

"Much better."

[secondchances]

"Good. Now that we've gotten points and books out of the way, and set a date for an unpleasant conversation, what do you want to do for the rest of the day?"

Not that she's objecting to staying on the sofa like this.

[dorkwonder]

"We could not watch a movie for awhile and stay like this, or go out and catch a movie. Whatever you want to do." Given how much time he has spent cooped up in various places, he figures he should offer her the opportunity to go out into the world with him.

[secondchances]

"When was the last time we ever finished a movie, Tim?"

[dorkwonder]

"When we were in separate rooms?"

[secondchances]

"Correct."

At least she finds it more cute than pathetic, now. She thoughtfully taps her fingers on his jaw, humming.

"We could go for a walk, right now."

[dorkwonder]

"I'll go get Ace's leash." If there has been one constant companion in Tim's solitude, it has been of the canine variety. Ace doesn't ask questions or expect him to open up. Ace expects walks and tug-of-war matches.

[secondchances]

Whoa, there. Steph traps Tim with her knees against his sides.

"Excuse you, I don't want to be the third wheel. Just you and me, pretty please."

SERIOUSLY, TIM.

[dorkwonder]

BUT ACE.

"You don't want Ace to come along with us?" Stares off in the direction of Ace's leash before returning his attention to her.

[secondchances]

"... no offense to Ace or anything."

You'd think she was breaking up with him. Them. Whatever.

[dorkwonder]

"Cass probably wants to spend some more time with him, anyway."

Glances down at her legs, wondering if she's planning on releasing him now that they are going to remain a party of two.

[secondchances]

Steph keeps him trapped long enough to kiss him one more time, then lets him go.

"And I want more time with you. We all win."

[dorkwonder]

Kisses her in return, adding a quick kiss to the forehead when their lips unlock.

"We do." Gets up from the couch, and offers her his hand to help her up.

Her hand keeps his even after she stands.

"You're not gonna run off if I let you go, right?"

[dorkwonder]

"Maybe." Links their fingers together securely, running his thumb across her knuckles." You better hold onto my hand to be on the safe side."
