Tonight, in the sky, there are fireworks.

You can see them from the hotel window, but for a better look -- so suggests the helpful concierge at the desk -- you'll want to head to Sumida, where locals and tourists alike gather on the edge of the Sumida River.

[She's not too far up yet, so the sound doesn't get carried off the wind. When she looks around to find the source, she lets go of the building with one hand so she can wave.]

[He laughs in reply, knowing full well he shouldn't do it... but he does.]

[She's really not surprised, it's a giant building and people aren't supposed to climb it so of course it has to happen. Once he's closer, she grins at him.]

[He's up to her in no time, moving faster than usual without long coats and weaponry to weigh him down. Free-handed, too; it feels so nice to be up in the wind.]

[She doesn't count to three and say go, she just goes. The shoes are a little clunky, she's never had to think about the people of Gotham looking up her skirt before, but this is where she's in her element. Buildings like this, modern ones that aren't a castle, it's what she knows. Her ascent is graceful and very quick, filled with leaps to new ledges and very little obvious regard for gravity.

If he's not very fast too, she might beat him. She feels a desire to prove herself now, after she let him catch her in the hallway on his birthday.]
