Whatever you were in the middle of doing, you suddenly find yourself in what appears to be an abandoned garage, in the blink of an eye.

There is a bunch of weird-looking technology everywhere, cables and wires connected to machines lined with blinking lights. There are screens all over the room, with grids and maps on some of them and scrolling, foreign text on others. One of the screens projects a constantly rotating image.

There's also a platform in the middle of the room. And you all happen to be standing on it.

[Suspicious or not, the stranger seems to be utterly oblivious to how dangerous or frightening it's presenting itself. It makes no move to greet the group; it takes no self-conscious or hesitant action.

It only continues walking forward, its steps heavy and deliberate, feet thudding loudly on the street in a steady rhythm, echoing in the emptiness of the city.]

[Well...since it doesn't seem to be stopping, Jane can't just stand around and do nothing.]

Excuse me? Do you know what might have happened here?

[No response. In fact, it gives no indication it heard her speak at all. It only continues slowly making its way closer.]

[Jane begins to, cautiously, walk forward.]

Excuse me!

[zeiram]

[It still doesn't respond and still continues moving closer, pace unchanging.]

[cyan_maid]

[Okay. For real? This is a little ridiculous. Danger be damned, Jane is just about fed up with this kind of reaction and she stamps her foot.]

HEY!

[zeiram]

[By now, the creature is apparently close enough for its liking. It stops moving with a loud thud as its feet hit the pavement one last time. It reaches into its cloak and pulls a rather alien-looking shotgun, and levels it at Jane.]
