Whatever you were in the middle of doing, you suddenly find yourself in what appears to be an abandoned garage, in the blink of an eye.

There is a bunch of weird-looking technology everywhere, cables and wires connected to machines lined with blinking lights. There are screens all over the room, with grids and maps on some of them and scrolling, foreign text on others. One of the screens projects a constantly rotating image.

There's also a platform in the middle of the room. And you all happen to be standing on it.

[If the stranger sees her gun from this distance, it doesn't show it. Instead, it keeps its slow, methodical pace as it continues moving closer.]

[Six is standing her ground for the moment. It's completely aliens, and while all her training says kill it? She doesn't think going at it blind is the safest plan. If it gets a little closer, she might be able to get more information, if just from how it moves...] What are you?

[zeiram]

[As Six stands her ground, the thing keeps coming closer. It doesn't answer her, but it doesn't seem to be consciously ignoring her or unable to understand her -- rather, it instead gives no real indication it comprehends her words as language. Like if she were speaking to an insect.]

[lonenoble]

[This was different. The Covenant were more response. It's almost unnerving. Almost. Instead, she's getting ready to fight if needed. She's not running.]

[zeiram]

[The being keeps moving slowly forward, eventually stopping once it's about a yard away. It remains motionless and inexpressive, lacking any facial expressions to clue her in on what its thinking.

It just stands there. Maybe it's waiting for her to make the first move? Or maybe it's trying to suss out information on her, too?]

[lonenoble]

[Six isn't going to move yet, but she's ready to dodge if he tries anything. This is strange...

But she's still sizing him up.]

[zeiram]

[It keeps standing there, looking at her.

Then, abruptly, a pistol pops out of its shoulder like it was hidden by a hatch, and fires right at her.]

[lonenoble]

[And something like that was what she was watching for, as she uses her reflexes to get out of the way, returning fire.]

[zeiram]

[The being continues to stand there, not even moving to dodge. The bullets just bounce right off it, so maybe there's armor or something under its cloak. While she's firing at it, it extends its hand -- and from its wrist shoots a bolas, the weights on either end causing the cord to spin wildly.

It was aiming for her wrist to knock the gun out of her hand, but it doesn't have supernatural aim or anything.]

[Six, however, has very good reflexes. She'd expected something, and between the bolas and the lack of damage from her bullets? She's pulling back for now, figuring it may be better to get out of there for the moment.

At least with hunters, she knows the weaknesses.]
