Whatever you were in the middle of doing, you suddenly find yourself in what appears to be an abandoned garage, in the blink of an eye.

There is a bunch of weird-looking technology everywhere, cables and wires connected to machines lined with blinking lights. There are screens all over the room, with grids and maps on some of them and scrolling, foreign text on others. One of the screens projects a constantly rotating image.

There's also a platform in the middle of the room. And you all happen to be standing on it.

It's just... Empty. There's not even real destruction. No bodies. No signs of a fight.

No army of aliens wanting to wipe out humanity.

[Utena's shoulders relax and she lets out a short breath, but she cringes immediately afterward. Her stomach twists itself into a knot; what kind of person is she, to feel relief at another's bad fortune? She glances straight at the empty road ahead, not quite looking at her new companion, and when she speaks again her voice has quieted]

And how did that turn out?
