Who: Terry Sheridan and Conan Edogawa
What: Terry-stalking.
When: Day 2 of the plot
Where: Shinjuku
Rating: Certificate 15
He knew it was a long-shot...
Terry had contacts here in Tokyo. They mostly hung around the more seedier areas of the city, understandably. The type of people who were in to hire a guy like Terry Sheridan normally were up to no good.
Unfortunately, Terry is out of his time, as well as his world, as he wanders the familiar streets, pausing to look up at a building that once held a meeting place, or a bar where contacts liked to drink. Nothing familiar was here.
Occasionally, he'd glance around, just to make sure that some local Yakuza enforcer, or gang leader didn't want to make an example of the foreigner on their patch. He's aware it makes him look shifty as hell, but he'd rather be shifty and alive...

But he was wary when one was pointed at them. Especially when he didn't know the person well enough to predict their actions. And this guy? Was one big mystery.]
What do you want?

[Terry keeps his weapon, a standard handgun, levelled at Conan. His shoulder, to be precise. A wounding shot.]
...And who hired you.

And who would hire a kid for anything?
[Conan had dropped his childish mannerisms in favor of a serious glare and adult-like posture.]

[And Terry's known it to happen.]
This curiosity... it's going to get you killed. Some folks don't hesitate to shoot tails, kids or not.

But the child he pretended to be wouldn't know that.]
Shouldn't you be more concerned that one of the people out there will see this?
[He jerks his head at the busy street behind them. And ignores the comment about his curiosity.]

Not really. We're shaded enough. And you seem pretty switched on, you're not going to make a fuss.
Are you?

[He's very convincing.]
I think you've been out in the sun a wee bit much.

Must have one of those faces. Not been to a castle in a few months.

Are you going to put the gun down?
