and there are still places I haven't been
who: Gwaine and you
what: It's his birthday!not that very many people know this
when: Today
where: Morgana's room, the Lux, and the house in that order.
rating: g for now.
[ Morgana's room ]
[ Gwaine can hardly believe what he is doing. He feels like he is fifteen again and desperately trying to impress girls, but not knowing how to go about doing so. He shakes his head trying to dispel the ridiculous thoughts. He is twenty-seven years old, twenty-eight today, and he is simply leaving a lady a token for...
He may need to come up with a proper excuse. Preferably before he is asked so he does not stutter like a misbehaving child caught doing something prohibited.
He considers knocking on the door, but it is early still and he would rather not disturb her if he can. If her sleep is not being plagued, he will not be the one to wake her from it. Instead, he hangs the leather cord on her doorknob. Hanging from it is a druid symbol, the serpent and dragon, whittled carefully from wood. Through the hole the cord cuts through, he slips the thin stem of a flower identical to the one he had used for his magic trick when they were first locked in. It is as close as he can come to attaching his name to the gift. ]
[ The Lux ]
[ While some may frown at the idea of drinking before noon, Gwaine has no such qualms. He is seated at a table, a glass of beer in front of him. He is trying to decide on something to eat, but most of the names listed are foreign to him and it shows in his face. He finally tosses the menu aside. He can just ask for whatever is recommended; luckily, he has never been a picky eater. ]
[ The house ]
[ He lets himself in, calling out as he does. ]
Arthur? Allen?
[ He has something for both. ]

Have you seen where I stay? Even pink and red, your room looks better by far.

Is this yet another confidence to keep about the Lady Morgana? Because that would be two you owe me for already.

[ He tries to maintain a tragic façade, but the upward twitch at the corners of his lips ruins it. Finally surrendering to a laugh, he shakes his head. ]
How have you been?

Just well?
[ So she did not miss him at all? That is hurtful. ]

[ A beat. ]
And considering Paradisa's habits I find this something of an accomplishment.
[ She did miss him, she found herself longing for his presence more than once. But she dare not admit such a thing openly, nor to herself. ]

You avoided my question.
