I got the green light. I got a little fight.

Who: Cass, Steph, and Tim
What: Unwinding and recharging after all of the Gentlemen shenanigans.
When: Throughout the day.
Where: Bathaus.
Rating: PG-13 at most.

Weeks like this past one make it increasingly more difficult for Tim to want to continue on as the role of Alvin Draper. While he was useful at times, he wasn't quite as useful as he wanted to be. Back in Gotham, maintaining his civilian identity had been costly at times, but in the end the pros outweighed the cons. He's not sure if that's true for Paradisa.

Sighs softly, slouching back in the couch, and tilts his head backwards so he's looking up at the ceiling. At least the madness is over for the time being, although he's already dreading what Paradisa will have in-store for them come Halloween.

Tilting your head back like that just asks for a smooching, Tim. And that's exactly what happens. Her hands slide down his neck until they find his shoulders, and her fingers gently knead the muscle there. Best girlfriend? Best girlfriend.

"Hey, you."

Hooray for the Bathaus not losing anyone.

While they smooch it up, Cass is going to just collapse onto the couch beside Tim. Man, hearing Steph's voice again is nice.

"Would prefer... keeping voices, but that was good."

Yay fighting difficult to fight things!

Blinks when Steph's face suddenly appears, then he closes his eyes over and smiles into the kiss. Girlfriend of the year.

Raises his hands to meet her face, continuing the kiss until he feels Cass saddle in next to him. Pulls away from the kiss, checking on Cass to see how she's doing. While she looks okay on the surface, he can't help but worry after everything that happened in Japan.

"Good's not a word I would use to describe anything that happened these past few days."

For now, Steph rests her chin on the top of Tim's head.

"Successful, even if they got some people," she says with a sigh. "They could have gotten a lot more. We stopped them in time."

Well she wasn't counting the people that died, of course that's far from good. But it was a hard fight, they won. That's the good part. When she sees he's worried about her, she gives him a soft smile.

"I'm fine. Just ask Stephanie." And yeah, there's Steph to say for her the things she has trouble getting out right. Steph gets a smile too, but she also gets yanked down onto the couch with them.

"We did." In Tim's mind, it's not enough. A handful of people still went through a great deal of suffering. Although he's come to realize that much like in Gotham, there are certain tragic events that they won't be able to prevent. It's a bitter pill to swallow, but it makes him genuinely appreciate the successes the have. More than that, it makes him that much more grateful when Steph and Cass return home mostly unharmed.

Once Steph is settled in with the two of them, he puts his arms around both of their shoulders, and manages a small smile.

"I'm glad you're both okay."

Time for a Tim sandwich.

She doesn't need to read his body language to know that even though they won, it's not enough for him. It isn't for her, either, but... it's Tim. Things hit him harder, leave bigger marks. So he could probably use some Batgirl cuddles.

"We're glad you're okay, too." She tries not to speak for Cass too much, but she knows this thing for sure.

Cass leans over so she can relax against Tim's side, her own arm around him and reaching for Steph.

"Yes, very glad." She agrees, but then she looks up at him with a bit of concern. "There's... something else wrong, though."

Steph hits it right on the money. After being the leader for Young Justice and the Titans for so long, Tim tends to shoulder consequences that don't reflect any of the decisions he made.

Fortunately, before his mind can begin to dwell on the things he could have done different, his thoughts are disrupted by the ensuing cuddles.

"I'm okay, really. It's just--I wish there was more we could do here." A lot more. "But I get that in a place like this, we have to measure ourselves more by our efforts and less by the outcomes."

"We all do. But you're right," she nods, scooting so she has access to both of her housemates. Personal space does not exist in the Bathaus. "We did all we could."

He gets a brief, reassuring kiss on the cheek, though. Just in case.

And one they're all one big lump on the couch, Cass leans up to kiss Tim's other cheek.

"Should be quiet, now. No more attacks, no more excitement. We can just... take days off. Relax together, all of us."

Okay, even Timmy can't manage to brood when both of his cheeks are being kissed by Batgirls. Pay no attention to the color showing up in his cheeks.

"Let's hope so. People were starting to get restless before all of this happened. Everyone could use a day or two to relax."

Clears his throat. "Even me."

Aww, it's been a while since Steph's seen Tim blush. It tickles her just as much as it did before, and while she laughs under her breath, she doesn't say anything about it.

"Even Tim Drake wants a break. I almost don't believe it, Cass."

How can they be expected to ignore those pink cheeks when they're so cute, though? Like Steph she doesn't call him out, but she does grin at him because she knows, Tim. She knows.

"Me too. It's like... almost holiday miracle."

Tim knows that Cass knows, but he's going to feign ignorance and pretend his cheeks are pink because he's warm or something. After all, the three of them are mighty cozy with one and other at the moment.

"Hey, I take time off to relax."

Sometimes, and by sometimes, he means every once in a great while.

"Once in a blue moon. But it's okay," she assures, because she and Cass make sure he has fun when he's not off doing whatever or buried in a book. "We still love you the most."

That gets an immediate nod, there's no hesitation on that front.

"The absolute most." But it still doesn't seem like enough, so Cass gives Tim another affectionate squeeze. "What would... make you happiest, here? We should do something. Something special."

"I love you both, too." Kisses Steph briefly on the lips, and then he plants a kiss on Cass' cheek.

"Having the two of you here with me is already more than enough to make it happy." And he means it. Despite the ups and downs the three of them have had, their house is more than a house to him; it's a place he can call home.

"Come onnnnn, stop being so sappy," Steph teases, giving him a gentle jab in the shoulder. "We can't just stay here all day. Well. We could, I guess, but your legs and arms are going to fall asleep."

Yay, kisses! She's distracted for a second by that little show of affection, but it doesn't last long.

"Doesn't have to... be today. Could be whenever. Think of something, we'll do it. Just us three."

Smirks at Steph, who is so quick to rain on their warm fuzzies parade!

"Now that you mention it, I think they are already starting to." Removes his arm from Cass for the time being, allowing himself to lazily drape over Steph. See? He can be silly when he wants to be.

"Oh, really."

She loves silly Tim the best, because she's almost always silly herself. Steph lets herself slide down the sofa.

"I'm being squished."

Not really, but help, Cass.

Well, she could help, but she did just say they could all do the thing Tim chose to do together. So she'll just lean over to lay across his back, adding her own body weight to his to smoosh Steph down into the sofa a little more. With her chin resting on his shoulder, she grins down at her friend.

"How sad, Stephanie."

Once Steph flops over, Tim completely drapes himself over her, shortly followed by Cass piling on top of him. He's doing his best to keep a straight face, which is proving to be quite challenging because his lips want to break into a grin.

"Yep, they are completely done for. I won't be able to move for awhile, sorry."

Oof. Steph laughs, though it's a little wheezy due to the pressure on her ribs. It's not too bad, though.

"That's cool you guys, I'll just suffocate down here."
