He Like It, So He Put a Ring On It
Who: Vanyel, Tylendel, Yfandes + the rest of the Castle (aka, whomever wants to show up)
What: Vanyel and Tylendel's wedding
When: May 3, afternoon to evening
Where: The Castle Gardens
Rating: PG (unless the residents up the anit)
It was a glorious day to host a wedding. It was warm without being hot, not a cloud in the sky, and everything seemed to be cooperating and going the way it should. The grooms were dressed in their finest, Yfandes brushed to a sparkling sheen. Flowers had been arranged over a small arch, scenting the air with the smells of jasmine and bright honeysuckle. Behind the grooms was a small pedestal with a shallow bowl filled with a bit of oil, and before it a small cushion that kept two rings quite safe. Benches had been placed out along the lawn for people to sit on with cushions laid across them for comfort, politely arranged so that the trees of the garden case some shade upon them. Other than these small things, there was no great fanfare to the whole thing, but best not to take away from the grooms. It was an open sort of affair, a celebration to be shared with any who wished to share it.
Not that the grooms would necessarily notice right away as they had eyes for no one but each other, did they? But they weren't much meant to, on this sort of day, at this sort of moment. If they had, well, they might need to be rethinking all of this marriage business. But they didn't need to, certainly not Vanyel.
This was everything he had ever wanted, and he was going to grasp it tight with both hands. He could only hope that everyone else that came, be it for this moment or the celebration after, would rejoice in it as much as he did.

"I can say that I am enjoying myself so far," he said emphatically. "And I am looking forward to meeting Tylendel when I can- I don't think he and I have ever spoken, now that I think about it."

"No? Odd, he is quite personable. Well, you shall meet him soon. He's saying hello," he laughed, looking over to where his new husband was smiling and laughing with another small group. "I shall call him over soon. You will adore him. He is a wonderful singer."
He paused and then flushed darker, laughing.
"I am sorry, I am gushing, aren't I? Or is that acceptable today?"
