Who: Legolas and Tauriel; OPEN (one or both of the elves might reply so they can keep a very close watch on the dragon)
What: Two elves hatch a baby dragon...
When: Backdated to during the baby plot
Where: The castle and anywhere outside
Rating: G, I guess
[Closed to Tauriel]
When he had woken that morning to find an egg in his room, Legolas was more than a little surprise. Elves had clear and long memory, that egg had not been there the night before. At first he'd thought to ignore it, clearly it didn't belong and the owner would come for it eventually. Curiosity, however, got the better of him and he carefully picked it up to find the note.
A note that told him to find Tauriel.
That was strange in itself but he carefully tucked her egg under his arm and grabbed his knife, bow and arrows and left to Tauriel's room. It wasn't difficult, her room was just a floor above him. So it wasn't long before he was rapping lightly against her door.
"Tauriel. There is something you need see."
[Around the castle]
There were others, he could see, with strange young creatures following them. While a dragon wasn't strange to him (he knew stories and had seen the damage done by Smaug to Lake Town), it wasn't something people normally had following them.
And inside the castle there was plenty to draw its attention. Whether it be drapery or people, nothing was uninteresting to the little beast. And nothing was free of the trouble a dragon might bring. Already a series of hiccups from the small dragon could have nearly set an entire room ablaze. It was only thanks to the fact that it was just hatched that kept disaster at bay.
[Outside - anywhere]
Going outside, they had discovered, was much better and safer for them and for the baby dragon. There was more space for it to run and explore, to try flying without smashing into anyone or anything. Sorry if neither dragon parent can keep the little menace from harassing you.

Usually up until it tries to set fire to her hair again.
"Admittedly there does not seem to be much malice to it. More like... misguided play."
