So you grab a piece of something that you think is gonna last.

Who: Carolina and open!
What: Carolina doing maintenance on vehicles in the hangar. People dropping by. Awkward talks.
When: All day (Jan 20th)
Where: Noble Two's hangar, which Carolina has essentially taken charge of
Rating: Updated to R/NC-17 in the York and Carolina thread. Otherwise PG/PG-13 for most others.

After training and a few other things she needed to check in on, Carolina was back in the hangar, outside of her armor for the first time in a few days. While there were obvious uses for said armor, it made her current task of vehicle maintenance much more difficult. So, the Freelancer could be found in the various vehicles in the hangar, dressed in mildly civillian-esque uniform she'd worn out on the expedition, with the addition of a thicker jacket. After all, she couldn't run vehicles without proper ventilation and the only ventilation was opening the garage door a little.

She didn't plan on being bugged, but things were rarely as she planned them as of late.

[And having his hand down there instead of his mouth is already earning a much more exciting reaction. At first, she's gasping softly into his mouth at those touches, the nerves blazing back to life with an urgency that honestly shocks her. She'd been prepared to just leave it be, but he's already proving that trying to convince her body otherwise was a mistake.]

[Well then. He kisses her neck to give her some room to breathe and shifts his hand a little so he can rub her clit with his thumb as he thrusts with his fingers--a little awkward, maybe, but it ought to work.]

[Oh now that is hitting all sensitive (and right) places at once. That combination quickly has her panting and squirming against his fingers, her hips jerking and trying to find a rhythm. Trying to speak is suddenly incredibly difficult and she chokes out,] Yes.

[Now that is what he likes to see. He'll try to time his movements to her hipthrusts but otherwise continues as he has been, grinning his ears off.]

Good.

[Carolina's panting begins to speed up and rise in both pitch and intensity as that inner spring begins to coil tighter. How she could possibly say no to this is far beyond the reaches of her thoughts right now as she whines out his name.]

York. [Her panting becomes uneven, her hips rocking wildly. She's teetering right there on the edge. ]

[Oh, well, if that's how it is he'll speed his pace up just a tad more to try and push her to the edge.]

Come on, babe.

[Yeah, he's definitely glad she's letting him finish her off like this. That expression, man.]

[That pace change undoes her completely as she clenches tight around his fingers, her jaw dropping open to let out a loud moan as she climaxes. Her hips continue to rock for a couple more seconds before starting to slow and her body relax.]

[Much better than her insisting it's okay, because why be okay when you can be--well, like this?

When she finishes rocking, he pulls his fingers out (and wipes them on the sheet) before giving her one last kiss.]

Now that wasn't too bad, was it?

[Carolina continues to pant for a little bit, right now unable to do much talking so she just manages half an eyeroll at his comment. The grin on her face, though, pretty much negates that eyeroll and the way she relaxes in the bed even more so.]

[He'll grin back a little smugly, then, and curl his arms around her as he settles down. Not that he's exactly tired after all that stimulation, but relaxed? Definitely.]

[Briefly shifting, Carolina pulls the covers up over them now that most of the exciting things are likely done for the night. She stretches out over him, settling against his chest as her breathing finally slows back to normal. Propping herself up on her hands, she continues to grin at him.]

[And he'll grin lazily back up at her.]

Yes?

[He drawls it out, knowing she probably has something to say if she's looking at him like that.]

[Carolina just snorts and laughs. Nope there was nothing funny, but she's laughing anyway. Things don't have to make sense right now. ]

Nothing.

[He reaches up to push her hair back behind her ear, smiling.]

All right.

[Carolina reaches up slowly for his face, the grin still on her face as her fingers trace the lines of his face.]

Thanks for coming out here.

[He grins a little sheepishly, since he had originally come out here to try to avoid her.]

Yeah, well. Can't stay mad at you forever, you know.

Is that a fact? [Carolina regards his sheepish expression with a raised eyebrow. Not that she plans to pick fights, but it's good to know that even if she's being stubborn, she can count on him to do what she can't.]

How could I?

[Because yeah, he's stubborn to a fault and yeah, he's opinionated on certain things, but...he wasn't going to lose her from something as stupid as arguing. Even just as teammates, they meant more to each other than that.]

[Carolina's expression shifts toward one of concern, her head cocking slightly to the side as her fingers slowly trace along the line of his jaw.]

I am wrong sometimes. [It hurts to say. It really does, but it's another step she's trying to take.]

Does that mean I shouldn't forgive you?

[It's a serious question. He knows what his answer is, but he wants to see how she responds.

Her fingers almost bring goosebumps to his face, but then again, it almost tickles.]

[Carolina does at least take the time to consider his question, rather than a quick no. Of course she wants to be forgiven, especially since she feels that the Castle's the real one to blame. Still, if she starts shoving blame somewhere else (and onto a building of all things), that's when she'll start getting into real trouble, both with the question of reality and the question of her team. She doesn't want any questions and if that means taking responsibility for that lingering instability in the back of her mind, then she'll do it.

With the side of her thumb gently moving up to the side of his face, she makes sure to look him straight in the eyes.] Not until I say I'm sorry.

[Which she has in this case, but that's not the point.]

[He smiles, reaching up to drag her down for a kiss. It's not terribly long, just a gentle, short kiss.]

That's fair enough.

[Carolina smiles slightly in response to the kiss. She could get used to this, no problem.]

That's the goal here.

[Good. Very good. He snuggles up with her a little more.]

How about you? Anything you want from me?

[Carolina chuckles, letting him do that snuggling as much as he needs. She presses a kiss to his forehead as she considers his question.]

You're already doing it. [Not specifically referencing the snuggling, more of the having her back and supporting her, being patient while she continues to come to terms with the Castle.] You've been doing it for a long time.

[But she does tap his jaw.] Except a shave. You need one.
