[Tess usually sleeps alone.

Granted, this isn't the first time she's woken up with someone since arriving in Paradisa, but she's starting to wonder if the castle is trying to say something about her taste in partners. But she also has a feeling that that isn't why Lilah's here.

She shifts slowly away from her a bit. She'll get back to their choice of clothing in a second]

Morning. Unfortunately the castle didn't see fit to provide breakfast this time.

[Lilah's been sleeping alone most of the time since things had ended with Wesley (and then Damon) and even then, she had usually slept alone anyways. Except for when the Castle decides otherwise.

But she's a light sleeper, and the movement stirs her easily. She yawns, waking to find herself in something she'd never wear willingly.

She sits up a little, yawning. Perhaps she's not awake enough yet. She feels unreasonably tired.

She can't help but wonder if the Castle's trying to influence her tastes in things. Last time it had been Katherine, and now Tess.]

It did at least have the decency to pamper us the last time.

[Tess isn't dressed much differently, at least as far as the time period is concerned. The castle at least had the decency to give her pants, but she isn't sure what makes her different from Lilah.]

I don't know what I have by way of food, but I probably have coffee?

[succubitch]

That's a start. [Really, food isn't the larger concern at the moment. Clearly, the castle is up to something.

The question is what.]

[goes to fix the coffee]

Do you think this is a case of the castle repeating itself?

[succubitch]

Somehow, I have a hard time believing we'd be so lucky.

[pours the cups and hands one over]

It never seems to work that way.

[succubitch]

[She takes the coffee, sipping from it.] No, it never does.

[howruthless]

[sits across from her]

Well. It certainly went all out with the wardrobe.

[succubitch]

They did, didn't they?

Do you think it's a clue?

[succubitch]

It's possible. They're almost like costumes. I wonder if there's a role we're supposed to be playing.

I was never very good at theater.

[succubitch]

I'm alright at it, there's not a huge difference between a stage and a courtroom, ultimately.

My productions were meant for smaller stages.

[though all things considered, she was never that great of a con artist either, considering everything she's lost.]

[succubitch]

As were mine. But it seems the Castle has something else in mind, this time.

Apparently so.

[glances at what she's wearing]

Though the costuming doesn't seem to be gender specific.

[succubitch]

No, it does not. Which makes me all the more curious.

[howruthless]

As am I.

[succubitch]

I wonder how long it'll be until it reveals it's true plans.

[howruthless]

Probably when we're least expecting it.

[succubitch]

Most likely.

Well. Let's see if we can at least leave the room.

[succubitch]

It's a good place to start.

[she pushes up and wanders to the door, trying the door knob slowly before peering out into the hallway.]

Seems like it's all clear.

[succubitch]

Well, that's hopeful at least. Or worrisome. I haven't quite decided.
