[From a boy like Tsuna, you wouldn't imagine the nightmares to be as hellish as other resident's were. To some extent, this is true; however, his nightmare does not revolve around petty fears. These nightmares are not littered by events of the past, but are shaped by apprehension for the future. The nightmares have differing situations, but there is one feeling that rings strongly through them all.

[And that's the mob, banging down the door! She reaches for Tsuna's hand in a desperate attempt to keep them from sweeping him away.]

[Tsuna looks at Jane for a moment, and then towards the door.

Tick tock.]

[She squeezes his hand. There's nowhere to run.]

If they come in here - oh why deny it, they definitely will - please, please don't believe a word they say. Please, Tsuna.

[Tsuna looks back at Jane.

Maybe she's right. Maybe she's wrong. Who knows what he was really "supposed" to do?

But he does know one thing: she didn't deserve this. She was a bystander, caught in the fray. A friend, and related to Tsuna in no other way than that. She shouldn't be caught up in his issues.

A flame alights on Tsuna's forehead, and his eyes, though still tired, look to be harder, more determined, now. He holds his hands in front of him, toward the wall opposing the door, and begins to charge an attack.

To Jane:]

Stand behind me.

[cyan_maid]

[Wait.

Wait.

What?

She'll stay behind you, of course, but...]

Tsuna, what are you...what's going on?!

[The door behind them bursts open just as Tsuna speaks.]

I'm getting you out of here.

[A fiery blast erupts from his hands, smashing into the wall and causing it to explode into debris and dust. It's impossible to see anything, but there's a hand grabbing you and pulling you through.

And then Tsuna is running down the street, dragging Jane by her wrist, before ducking into an alleyway between two tall buildings.]

Huh? How?!?

[She can only run and hope she doesn't trip.]

How did you even do that????

Stay quiet.

[He peers out from the alleyway. It won't be too long until the mob finds them again.

So he'll come over to Jane.]

Hold onto me.

[cyan_maid]

[Jane turns bright red, but she'll do as you say, and try to file this away for later.

Shutting those eyes tightly now, too.]

[Tsuna doesn't seem the least bit flustered by his command in comparison, and once she's got a grip, he points his hands down and shoots out flames, rocketing them skywards. Finally, they land atop the building.]

We'll be safe here.

[cyan_maid]

[Thank goodness she didn't look, or she'd have screamed. As it is, she looks around at their new surroundings with wide eyes.]

I doubt anyone else can get up here, and I doubt they'll think to look up, either.

[He looks down at the dispersed mob below.]

But - HOW?????

[She flails a little.] The fire - and it's in your hair, isn't that burning you? - and just - how?!?!

The fire is my dying will flame. It is a physical manifestation of my energy.

[Tsuna's attention has returned to the people below, however. Jane will notice that the flame on his head is getting smaller, before going out. When he blinks, his eyes have lost their hardness. Despite them having gotten away, he looks incredibly tired. Defeated.]

Whoa!! The fire's gone-

[And then she takes a better look at you.]

Tsuna, are you alright???

Jade, you shouldn't be with me. As long as you are.. you're going to get sucked into my problems. [He shakes his head.] You don't deserve that.

(I'm sure you mean "Jane" but it's alright)

[He's getting all depressed again? But they'd made so much headway!!

Jane takes him gently by the shoulders and frowns.]

Oh, no you don't, mister. Don't you get all mopey on me!
