You can't change your bloodline. It's stupid to even try.
Who: Tsuna and you!
What: The nightmares of the next vongola boss...
When: The nightmare plot
Where: The realm of nightmares
Rating:nightmare The first section may and probably will escalate to R (it pretty much starts out at at least T anyway); the other two sections are PG-13.
[From a boy like Tsuna, you wouldn't imagine the nightmares to be as hellish as other resident's were. To some extent, this is true; however, his nightmare does not revolve around petty fears. These nightmares are not littered by events of the past, but are shaped by apprehension for the future. The nightmares have differing situations, but there is one feeling that rings strongly through them all.
Helplessness.]

[At the pushing, he remains firm and shoves back, looking at Genis.]
You're not involved in this. Go, while you still can!
[The figure moves back and forth impatiently.]

I'm not going anywhere. What kind of creature is he? I can gather his weakness from that.
no subject
You don't understand! He doesn't have any weakness. You need to go. You need to go so you can warn the others, and get away from here as far as possible!
[Tsuna's eyes widen when a chain starts to come from the phantom, and as a last-ditch effort, he shoves Genis hard, to put as much distance between them as possible.
And then the figure lashes out with his chain, wrapping it around Tsuna's neck. The boy yelps and struggles as he's lifted into the air, hands grasping at the chain.]
no subject
His eyes widen when he sees Tsuna being lifted by the chain, grabbing for his kendama, immediately casting a quick fire spell at the phantom's end of the chain in an attempt to melt it. ]
Fireball!
no subject
Finally, he remembers a name to the voice.]
Genis, please, go. Don't... let my friends' deaths... [He takes a deep, shuddery breath, or as much as the chain will allow him.] Don't let... my death be in vain.

[ It seems that Tsuna didn't get the memo that he wouldn't simply let a friend sacrifice themselves.
So he finds himself casting a much stronger spell, making sure that it'll all be concentrated to one spot- he doesn't want to hurt Tsuna- and tries again to melt the chain. ]
EXPLOSION!
no subject
But if it was meant to strike Genis, the only part it hurts is his hand, which is whipped against violently before the chain takes the kendama away, then constricts until it breaks in two, falling to the ground.
Tsuna is still struggling.] No...! [And then the figure looks back at the boy and constricts the chains around him. He cries out in pain.]
no subject
Honestly, even a stick on the ground could do the trick... but even if he knew it was useless (he was too used to his kendama), he bent over to pick up the first one he could find, before turning tail...
And pretending to run away.
Once he cleared a sufficient distance, he fell back and hid behind a corpse, wrinkling his nose at the putrid smell, squeezing his eyes shut and gently moving the stick as though it was his kendama. He was trying to imagine the feeling of the ball falling back onto the handle, over and over again... concentrating as much energy as he could... ]
Thunder Blade!
[ Don't mind a thick broadsword, sparking and sizzling with lightning attribute, quickly falling to try and impale the figure. It wasn't as powerful as his usual magic, but if the element of surprise worked... ]
no subject
Also, this guy's getting real tired of your bullshit, Genis. So don't mind him being SUDDENLY IN FRONT OF YOU (even though you were probably a good thirty feet away) and lashing out with a chain again, this time to wrap arms together, and wrap them together tight.
Tsuna's... well, he's stopped moving. And it's impossible to tell if he's passed out, simply resting... or otherwise.]
no subject
Ghh-... oww-... [ he groaned out, turning his head to look to Tsuna, worried. Is he dead? The half-elf finds himself too afraid to call out for him. ]
no subject
But the nightmare is not Genis' own suffering.
Tsuna lets out another scream when the chains tighten again-- god knows how he's got any airway left at all-- and the chains are so tight, his neck has started bleeding. And then he's lifted, and thrown down violently-- right at the other corpse.
There's a lot of dust, but the coughing from Tsuna sounds deep, conjested, and, well. All-in-all, not very heart-lifting, to put it lightly.]
no subject
Tsuna's scream makes his head shoot up, glancing in his direction. ]
Hey...! Tsuna-
[ He's about to try and ask if he's okay when he's thrown down violently at the other corpse... Genis is starting to lose hope, here. And who wouldn't? Being unable to cast magic... the guy he was trying to help was dying, if he wasn't dead already... ]
Who are you? [ he hisses at the figure. ]
no subject
Three more chains come from him, wrapping each around Tsuna's limbs.
And then they pull.
Have fun listening to those screams, Genis. If you're lucky, you might even hear some pops as each of his limbs are dislocated.]
