Who: Sam and Dean Winchester and YOU
What: Joint Winchester Nightmare
When: Anytime during the plot shenanigans.
Where: Paradisa.
Rating: PG-TBD—probably PG-13 to light R depending
Notes: Specify in the subject line whether you want to start with Sam or Dean, and we will oblige.
Warnings: Potential Violence and Torture, Definite evil!Sam.
When you wake up in the castle, the only thing that’s distinctly different is the darkness and the silence. Otherwise, everything as you know it is the same. Your room, your belongings, everything is just as you left it when you left the morning before. It may not be where you’ve fallen asleep in the castle, but it’s the most familiar place you know, and that’s what matters.
The one thing that you can’t find is your journal. That’s why it’s so odd that the castle is so silent—no one is talking up at you from points unknown, no one is trying to keeping you informed, warning you about anything going wrong. All there is, is silence. Complete, uncomfortable, dead silence and every instinct you has tells you that you should probably stay put.
Then again, this wouldn’t be much of a nightmare if you did.
Should you choose to venture out of your room, you’ll find the hallways of Paradisa, completely deserted and desolate. It’s almost as though everyone just vanished overnight, with no sign of where they went. If you happen to find a light switch to try and turn it on, it won’t work. The lights may flicker and glow for a moment, but that light will die not long after you flip the switch. Pictures are cracked and broken, paintings are torn, and it’s almost as though a great battle has taken place here but no sign of the people who fought it. If your nose is sharp enough, you may pick up the soft coppery scent of blood. Follow the blood, if you wish, but you may not like what you find.
If you wander long enough, eventually you’ll run into someone. There are two possibilities, both brothers, but it’s unclear if they’re really themselves at the moment. If you’ve known them long enough, odds are you might be able to tell what’s going on, but that could go either way. One of them is very, very good at pretending, and this is his playground you’re in. Play by the rules and maybe you’ll get out alive. Get lucky, and you might find his brother for back up before he finds you.
And if you choose to stay in your room? Don’t worry. He’ll find you soon.

"Do you have your journal on you? Maybe there's something in there."

Whether they liked it or not.
"There might be someone in the Lux. Wanna go check it out?"
no subject
"Yeah... sure." Being slightly distracted, she heads toward the stairs. It's force of habit, for the most part, plus it never hurts to add activity to her day.
no subject
Then again, if she gets to the Lux first, she might catch on a little sooner than he'd like. Curse his need for dramatic flair.
Once they hit the bottom of the stairs, however, his hand finds the space between her shoulder blades and shoves, hard, aiming for her to collide with the nearest wall.

Her body falls limp to the floor, head connecting to the ground to give her another heavy thunk to the back of her skull.

He moves closer, two fingers pressing to her jugular to make sure that the fall didn't kill her. Once he's satisfied that she's still alive, he crouches down to sweep her off the ground and make his way towards the Lux.

Things feel heavy and maybe that's the mild concussion talking, but she knows that Sam pushed her.
"Sam?"
no subject
"Good. You're awake."
no subject
Yet here she is. Tied up by Sam Winchester. Part of her realizes that it was Meg before, that it wasn't really Sam, but it looked like Sam and so does this.
"Yeah, I'm awake. Untie me, Sam."
no subject
"Sorry, Jo. Not yet. That would ruin the fun, don't you think?"
no subject
"I think this is the castle and you being a dick is not something you're gonna be happy with later on."
no subject
"But don't worry. Dean's around. Somewhere. I'm sure he'll love to rush in and save the day sooner or later."
no subject
"Sam, you don't have to do this." Her arm shifts and she can feel the pull of muscle trying to help pull her hand free, but the ropes dig into her wrist and the discomfort is starting to wear on her.
no subject
He grabs the chair and sits there across from her, face melting into a bit of a puppy look. "It's always 'Sam, you don't have to do this.' Having to isn't really the issue. People don't do this kind of stuff because they have to. They do it because they want to. Telling them they don't have to isn't really going to make them stop."
no subject
"Because I know you, Sam, and this isn't what you want to do," she can feel the knot in her stomach shifting to twist into actual fear as he nears her with the blade.
no subject
He smirks as he leans in closer, bracing his hands on either side of her. "Then I get to come out and make some new friends."
no subject
"Sam, who else did you hurt?"
no subject
no subject
It's all she needed, one hand free.
"I don't know much about complaining, but you don't seem to shut up."
