Who: Giotto and YOU!
What: Exploring the Castle
When: Anytime today
Where: Anywhere in the Castle-just say where they are somewhere
Rating: ...T?
[After a week of being stuck here and exploring the city, Giotto decided it was time to explore the castle itself. This place was actually quite large, and if he was going to be living here then he should explore it thoroughly. It always helped to be prepared, no matter what the situation, and from he's heard, this castle liked to do things to its residents on a regular basis. If he was going to keep with his promise and foil the castle at every turn, he needed to know what he had to work with. Knowing the enemy, one could say, because it was the building itself.
So today only, you'll find him wandering the halls and in public areas casually, almost lazily, though he's really inspecting them and cementing the layout of this place into his head. Come bother him on his wonderful endeavor.]

What is it that you do anyway?

[Of course he'd ask that question.] Nothing much. A little bit of this and that.

Well, Mufasa won't pry. He shifts and crosses his forelegs at the ankles.]
Have I told you that I am the king of the lands I hail from?

My home is called the Pridelands, a golden land touched by light. I've a great pride of many lionesses and cubs, including my mate [the one whose name he doesn't remember] and my son. It is a fruitful land, filled with clean water, and plenty of game. I could hardly ask for more.

[Giotto watches him speak of it, and the pride in his voice, and then turns back to his pocket watch, to look at the words engraved upon the inside.] How do you do it?

One day at a time.

Since you've much pride in your own family, is it alright if I ask about them?

Then there's Ugetsu... he's a musician from Japan. He plays the flute better than anyone I've ever heard. He's also a very skilled swordsman. He once sold his flute to buy a sword and come all the way to Italy to help me. [Giotto shakes his head, a small fond smile on his lips.] He's a bit of an idiot...

And Alaude, how do you describe that man? He hates crowds, hates being tied to people, disappears all the time, and yet he shows up exactly when I need him. He says it's because my version of justice just coincides with his own, but sometimes I think he just waits around for chances to come in and show me up.

And Daemon... [He gives a small, sad smile, staring at his pocket watch.] He was a noble who got tired of the nobility looking down on everyone and ignoring their suffering and wanted to change that. He believed in me so much. And I... I let him down, in the end. I couldn't be what he wanted me to be. And it hurt us all, in the end.

He remains quiet, giving Giotto the choice to elaborate or continue on.]
