Penny, with the help of the ghosts, decorated the ballroom with bright neon colors (pink, orange, yellow, etc) and laid out a table full of food and a bar (also stocked with non-alcoholic drinks). She has some pop music playing and has a glass of beer in her hand, looking cute in a little black dress. She waits eagerly for her guests to arrive!

(The ghosts are to deliver an invitation to the Once-ler, that asks in super sweet terms for him to come.)

[ This is Lucrezia standing on the sidelines because the music confuses her. It's only conducive for bobbing!

At least she has had help with picking out something to wear to fit in better, though the velvet pocket she is holding is more according to her time. She didn't have help with picking out a present, unfortunately. ]

[Kurt, for his part, is dancing about here and there, stuck in his Warbler's uniform as always, and singing along to most of the songs. Perhaps a certain someone might recognize his voice?]

[ Lucrezia does recognise his voice, though the singing is better than she expected! She laughs and waves his way when she catches his eye. ]

[righttrack]

[Kurt isn't sure why he's being waved to at first, but he does remember Stephanie mentioning that Lucrezia likes red. It could easily be a coincidence, but he goes over to her anyway.]

Lucrezia?

[ She giggles and does a brief curtsy for show. ]

Kurt Hummel. My friend in music and fashion has greater talent than could imagine.

[Ooh, fancy. He does a little bow, but just a tiny one, because he feels kind of silly.]

Well, thank you for noticing!

[ Lucrezia grins. ]

I would be deaf not to.

[righttrack]

So, do you like this kind of music?

[heloise]

[ She looks around to make sure Penny is out of earshot. ]

No. It is... unfamiliar.

[righttrack]

Well, that's fair, but I'm sure there's some modern music you'll like.

[heloise]

You could help me find one.

[righttrack]

I was hoping you'd ask.

[heloise]

But first, you will ask me to dance.

[righttrack]

Oh, I will?

[He chuckles and holds out his hand.]

May I have this dance?

[heloise]

[ She smiles and takes the offer. ]

Perhaps I could even commission you for an event?

[righttrack]

Really? What did you have in mind?

[heloise]

A feast, for no occasion other than joy.

[righttrack]

That sounds wonderful!

December 17. [ She twirls once because how else do you dance? ] The little master, Henry Mills, will be the master of ceremony.

[Penny glides up to her, laughing happily and grabbing her hands.]

Lucrezia! You look so pretty!

[heloise]

[ Lucrezia mirrors the laugh even if hers has a trace of nerves to it. How does one conduct oneself in modern parties? ]

If I am pretty, I have no words to describe you.

[holycraponacracker]

[Smiles.] Thank you for coming. I know it's a little different for you. [And if Lulu lets her, she'll kiss her cheek!]

[heloise]

[ She'll take all the kisses! ]

I must thank you for the invitation instead.
