if you don't leave you will kill or be killed
Who: Micheletto and you
What: the most ridiculous intro i've ever written
When: 13/December, late afternoon
Where: the duck pond
Rating: ducks.
[There is currently a very nonplussed-looking man standing knee-deep in the duck pond. He has apparently been there for at least several minutes, because the ducks have become accustomed to his presence enough where they aren't too afraid to come close.
His hair is a little damp, too. Maybe he fell in earlier? Regardless, he's still just standing there. It's a little weird. Surely someone in such a catatonic state could use some assistance!
Of course, the second any hypothetical assistance gets close enough, he's going to grab them and toss them into the pond. Maybe that's why he looks so puzzled.]
[ooc.: during this post, micheletto's also experiencing his first temporary loss, wherein he will just shove people into the pond reflexively if they get within arm's reach. because it's funny. prose or actionspam, you decide!]

No, it's really not.
Where are you going?
no subject
Rome.

Then speak plainly. What happened to it?
no subject
Nothing happened to Rome. Whenever you go back, you'll be right in the moment you left. You've been kidnapped by a magical castle, and you're stuck here until it decides to let you go.
... sounds crazy, but I am pointing at said castle.
[SHE POINTS.]

If you think me a fool, you're mistaken. Find another mark to con.
[He places his hand on the sword at his hip. You know, to emphasise that he's not being taken in by this clearly obvious chicanery.]
no subject
[She frowns at the sword. Not really wanting to get shanked today... especially by this guy.]
no subject
Why. For what purpose?

'End up here.' In Paradise for the living.
no subject
Look, if you want to walk off and try to figure this out on your own, go right ahead. But my offer to help still stands.
[She's fucking cold and isn't going to trail after him forever.]
no subject
He spreads his hands out at his sides.] What help can you offer? If not directions.

STEPH this is probably a really bad idea, this guy is creepy as fuck......]
no subject
This way.

[She rubs her arms a little. Soggy. Ew.]
Rome, you said?

no subject
[FIVE HUNDRED YEARS FAR.]
no subject
[He's not going to dispute it, though. Sometimes it's better to appear simple and unworldly.]
Yet we understand one another. So not as far from Rome as you may think.
no subject
It's complicated. I know a few people from Rome, though.
no subject
Do you? I know many people in Rome. Perhaps I know them.
no subject
[She's not sure if she wants to tell him about Lucrezia, because you don't tell creepy guys about your cute BFF.]
no subject
Everyone in Rome knows the Borgia. You mean to say they are here as well?
no subject
[Oh, what the hell. She'll show some caution on Cesare's behalf, too.]
