sorry to SPOIL the fun
Who: Stephanie Brown and YOU
What: Being a villain instead of a hero ;(
When: Tonight!
Where: The city
Rating: PG
Despite the snow and the cold, Stephanie is out and about. After finding quite a few pretty necklaces and rings to wear for the upcoming celebration, it makes sense to reward her hard fifteen minutes of thieving by... thieving some more, of course. And causing some general disturbances in the city.
Paradisa is so freakin' boring. It needed to be New Year's already.
Her face is covered by a black mask, obscuring her features, and the rest of her is covered in purple, including her hood and cape. It was time to spoil someone's night.
[[ooc: If you want your character to get mugged or almost get mugged, feel free to toss 'em here. I'll have a few sections where they can encounter ~*~*~THE SPOILER~*~*~ ;) ]]

THE CITY
Or, maybe it's quiet until someone drops behind you and tries to see if you have anything good on you.

"Can I help you with something?"
He doesn't look at all surprised by her dropping in. That's super-hearing, for you.
no subject
"Guessing you're not coming from the bank, huh?"
no subject
Speaking of night vision tech, Hank's robo-eye zooms in to get a better look at this person.
Not many costumed types around these days.

She takes a small step back, but otherwise remains relaxed.
no subject
Amused, he takes a small step forward.
"You look like your used to petty thievery, however."

"If you're here to cause trouble, I suggest you pick a better target."
no subject
Says the stranger covered head to toe. This person seemed like easy pickings, but Steph couldn't really appreciate the attitude. C'mon, dude.
no subject
Man, he hated it when they snarked. Though the voice sounded familiar...was it someone he knew before?
no subject
"I could be asking for directions, I said. Never said your assumption was wrong. Empty your pockets."
no subject
"I rather not," he'll turn around to see who it is. Oh of course, someone in the mask. "Like I said, you might want to try someone else."

IL CAPRICCIO
It doesn't take her long to break a window and slip in, not caring about the noise or the mess. Fancy indeed! Maybe there's some money kept here, or at least some nice stuff.
Nothing personal, of course.
IL CAPRICCIO
What he can also see, courtesy his adaption to the dark, is the dark figure skulking through the night.
And then he sees the figure break into his lover's property. That will certainly not do.
He slips off the rooftop, swift and silent, and follow the figure to the broken window. Once his quarry has disappeared inside, he follows. He'll trap this burglar like a fox in its hole.

"Whoops," she says, casually tipping one bottle out of the rack and watching it break in the floor. Red wine stains, fun. The crash masks the sound of anyone following in after her, and soon another crash follows as she drops another bottle.
"I'm so clumsy."
no subject
By time the sound subsides, he has hand wound into the back of her hood, hard, and the tip of a blade pressed into the small of her back.
"You have burgled the wrong merchant, girl," he hisses.
no subject
"Please, I'm sorry, I don't want to get in trouble," she tries, though she clearly wasn't sorry two seconds ago. "Don't kill me."
She knows who this is, of course. He wouldn't kill her.

THE FOUNTAIN
Sure, she could wish for material items, but the fun was in the taking.
She laughs a little to herself, looking at her reflection in the water.
no subject
"Hey, Steph," she says. "What are you doing in the old suit?"
no subject
All she's got on her is some jewelery, safe in a pouch. She could say Lucrezia gave it to her. Good enough.
"Are you the fashion police or something?"
no subject
"Uh," she replies. "On that topic it does look a little 90s, but I didn't mean to offend."
no subject
"Don't you have kids to save from wells?"

She steps back, but something slips out of a pocket and falls into the snow with an airy jingle. Whoops. Jewelry.
She'll just casually shove it aside with her boot.
