If I lay here (Closed)
Who: River Song and the Doctor (11)
What: Trapped in a room for three days!
When: 2/10-2/13
Rating: Pg-13 - R
River had been watching him for the past hour. She sat on the edge of the bed, which had been changed to a much larger, much more red, heart-shaped version. The Doctor didn't take being caged very well, that's for sure. She'd seen him try everything short of beating down the door and the whole time she had this vaguely predatory smile on her lips.
She certainly didn't seem to mind having some alone time with her husband. Although being cooped up in here was going to grow on her nerves eventually.
"I wish you'd sit down. You know very well the castle isn't going to open that door until it's good and ready to."

"I wish you'd sit down. You know very well the castle isn't going to open that door until it's good and ready to."

"Forgive me if I'm not going to simply give in to the castle's whims."
He tapped the screwdriver against the wood, idly contemplating the thickness of the door and the strength of the wood, whether or not he could break it down. After a moment he decided against it. If the castle could deadlock the door it could certainly make it otherwise impregnable. With a defeated sigh he pushed off of the door, twirling around and tucking the screwdriver back into his pocket. He sulked back to the bed, sitting down heavily next to River. "I wonder how long we're trapped in here..."

"No, I'd hardly expect you to give up." River muses, finding this whole situation to be quite amusing. So the Castle wanted them to shack up for an unknown amount of time. It had even redecorated the bedroom in a tacky Valentines day theme. Reds and pinks were everywhere.
"I have no idea, sweetie." She leans against his side and rests her head on his shoulder. It's nothing much, certainly nothing to make him uncomfortable. "Is it really so terrible to have some alone time? We can relax for a little while. It's not like we have much else to do."
no subject
He sighed, softer this time, and looked down at her, "No, I suppose not. It doesn't sound like the castle's coming down around our ears and no one seems to be panicking... well... more than one would being trapped in a room with someone they don't know." He smiled, "It looks like we may have gotten off fairly easy this time."

"Personally, I'd just think of it as a small vacation. It could be romantic, even." She gestures to the decorations and chuckles, "I'm sure the castle will become bored eventually."
But the castle didn't seem to grow bored and as the hours began to drag on, River's optimism was beginning to run out. It was probably the 25th game of 'I spy' that did it.
"We need to find another way to occupy our time."
no subject
"Hmm? I suppose... what do you have in mind? It's looking like the castle isn't going to let us go tonight, at any rate."
He stands up, stretching his arms out and looking around at the garishly decorated room. "I wish it had at least left us the TARDIS. That would have made finding something to do a great deal easier." He, as per usual, completely missed any implications of other things they could be doing in a room with a huge heart-shaped bed covered in rose petals...

"I can think of plenty of ways to pass that time." She murmurs, her lips mere inches from his. Making sure he can feel the weight of every word. "Can't you?"
no subject
"Oh, um. I'm... sure you can." He looks around, almost as if he were making sure no one was watching... or looking for an exit... it's a bit difficult to tell those two looks apart, sometimes. Either satisfied, or dissatisfied with what he saw (depending on which look that was) he turns his gaze back to River. He doesn't know why he's so nervous. River's his wife after all. And it's not as if he hasn't done anything before. Yet, there was something about her that somehow flustered him... especially when she was this close. But there were no excuses, tonight. No universe to save, no companions to come barging in... no overly curious jailers... no other Rivers (THAT was a mess he didn't want to repeat). Just them. Alone.
He took a breath and smiled down at her, cheeky as he replied, "What? You don't want to wait until after the wedding?"

There was nowhere he could run to. No excuses he could make. She had him cornered and they both knew it. "Let's just call it practice for our wedding night." River's voice is a seductive purr. Her lips graze his. Short and over too quickly for both their likings. She was being a tease on purpose, as per their usual encounters.

He smiles, reaching up and brushing his fingers across her cheek, "Oh, River. Somehow I find it unlikely you need to practice."

When he touches her face, she smiles at him, flashing even white teeth. It's one of those rare smile's that's not coy or seductive, yet seems to light up her entire face. "Me? Perish that thought! You on the other hand, might be rusty. Have you even had our original wedding night?" She's teasing him. Leaning into his touch, she sits up and slides him back against the head board of the bed, leaning over him. Of course she'd want to be ontop. She was just that type of woman.
She cups both sides of his face in her hands and leans down for a proper kiss. One that held the promise of being deeper as her tongue swept over the seam of his lips, as if asking for entrance.
:( my lack of proper icons for this post
His hand slides from her cheek to touch her hair as he obligingly parts his lips.
It's fine XD

He ran his fingers through her hair, simply enjoying the closeness, the feeling of her pressed against him. He really did love her, even if he hadn't really said the words. She was his Song, after all. His beautiful River Song.

More to the point, her hands start with his bow tie, slowly unraveling it and laying it aside. His jacket is the next article of clothing to go as she urges him to sit up so she can slip it from his shoulders. She stops there for a few minutes of wonderful, deep, drugging kisses. More so he could adjust then anything else. Lord knows River could just tear off all his clothes and pounce, she's got enough pent up sexual frustration to power the TARDIS, but it's best if things go slowly.

He slid his hands down her shoulders, enjoying the feel of her in his arms.

He leaned in, his lips barely brushing hers as his hands covered hers. He couldn't say the words, but he wanted to know that his hearts did belong to her.

"Help me out of my clothes, sweetie or the room's likely to unlock before we get down to business." She teases him with one of her usual, coy grins.

He smiles softly, running his hands down the skin of her back, "You're beautiful."

The passion between them is palpable. He smiles, drawing it out for another moment before rolling them suddenly. He leans over her, his lips quirking in a mischievous smile before their lips touch. The kiss is long and slow, so unlike their frantic on the spot marriage. They have plenty of time tonight, he has no intentions of rushing.

He surprises her even further when he flips them, but River doesn't resist. It's unusual because she usually prefers to be on top and in control, but it seems her husband is feeling quite bold. It's a welcome change. Admittedly this is her first time with him here in Paradisa, and she fully intends to take her time. She'd thought, not so long ago, that this would never happen again.
Starved for his kiss, his passion, she slides her hands along his shoulders, down to the center of his back where her nails teasingly graze his skin. Her lips soft and strangely yielding against his. The sensual sensation of her feverish naked skin against his is only fuel for the fire burning between the two of them.

He smiled as he ghosted his fingers up the side of her ribs. It was quite a change seeing River Song in such a vulnerable position, and it was rewarding to know that he was the one who had put her there.
His lips parted, his tongue playfully licking her lips. It may be their first time in Para, but it certainly was not his first time with her. He didn't know if she realized the nights they'd spent together by his point in their timeline. The weekend trysts masquerading as adventures in saving various worlds. He knew their time together was limited and he had every intention of making the most of every single nanosecond.

River shivers under his touch, the slow burning passion building up within her. Her hands slide up and down his back, sliding down his sides, just touching as much of his bare skin as she possibly could. She might not remain beneath him the entire time, but for now she was content to feel the press of his skin to hers.
Her hand slides to the back of his neck at the same time her lips close around his tongue, giving it a thorough suck. Which she knew usually drove him wild.
