I'll take you down the only road I've ever been down
Who: Linda Danvers and you
What: A new arrival scopes out the pretty prison
When: Nowish
Where: All over the first floor
Rating: PG
The journal was tucked under Linda's arm as she walked slowly through the lobby of the admittedly gorgeous castle. Nothing was attacking her, and it really did all look perfectly innocent. You know. By gorgeous castle standards. Like she knew anything about gorgeous castle standards.
She didn't even remember that she was in costume until she felt the blonde hair of her wig brush against her neck as she turned her head. How did she get here? What was she doing an hour ago? And what sort of freaky magic did the journal use to make sounds and images come out of it like some sci-fi fantasy mishmash? She didn't want to mess with it until she was sure that there weren't any angels, demons, or otherwise divinely affiliated entities involved in her arrival here. Somebody else was the Earth Angel of Fire now, right? So they had no business with her. Not that that had ever stopped them in the past.
She gave the suspicious once-over to every person she passed in those luxurious halls. Where they a part of whatever this weirdness was, or just like her, lost and really confused? And now that she thought of it... she was totally going to get fired if she didn't find a way home soon.
[ooc | She'll been wandering around, so feel free to meet her anywhere on the first floor of the castle inside or out! ]

But he could tell that this person, even if she was Kara, wasn't the Kara he had known. The castle always had a sick sense of humour, that went without saying, but this little joke cut deeper than most he had already dealt with. It wasn't too different than what Doctor had done back in the world he had come from.
Linda, you have a robot with ridiculous hair and pointed sunglasses staring at you and he seems to be stewing in uncertainty at how he should feel right now. What do?

She blinked at him for a moment, and when he didn't look away she frowned.
"What, do I have something on my face?"
no subject
"No." There's no denying by his tone that he's annoyed about something. He clenches one of his large red fists and it looks like he's about to say something, but then stops himself and turns to storm off toward the door. This place suddenly sucked.

She wasn't sure what to do for a moment.
Finally she huffed, crossed her arms with her journal tucked safely against her chest, and went back to her examination.
"Well that was freaky."

He stopped to arch a brow at her. "Can I help you?"
no subject
"Yeah, maybe. Do you know anybody named Buzz?" It was at least worth asking.
no subject
"It doesn't ring a bell, sorry. Did you come here with him?"
no subject
"What about a kid with a baseball bat, calls himself Wally?" If Buzz wasn't behind this, there was still a chance that 'God' was.

"By the sound of it, they aren't exactly good friends of yours." Not exactly a question, but as good as.

"Let me guess. New superhero in town? Or technically, castle."

"Is it the shoes? It's the shoes, isn't it." She propped her foot out and turned it left and right to look at either side of her shiny red calf-high boots.

He taps at his own logo pointedly.
"Never met a non-superhero that willingly went around with one of these."
no subject
"So I take it you've never been to Metropolis then. Do you not have fans where you come from?" She was truly mystified, especially considering she had actually purchased this shirt at a store that catered to such fans.

He shakes his head.
"Never heard of it. I'm from Amity Park. The name's Danny Phantom, by the way."

She had her nose in her journal, thinking about who to bother today, when she catches sight of something vaguely familiar out of the corner of her eye.
That "S" was unmistakable. It made Steph's heart thud against her ribs, but that girl wasn't immediately recognizable.
"Uh...?"
Very intelligent, Stephanie.
no subject
"Something wrong?" At least this one didn't look angry.
no subject
"Oh! Uhh--nothing, I was just looking at the..." She motioned to her own chest. Okay, also not very intelligent. "That symbol."
no subject
"Yeah. I'm Supergirl." She offered a small wave and an awkward smile. "Hi."
no subject
"Supergirl like, Superman's cousin, from Krypton, arsenal of super cool powers, no pun intended?"

As Tim closes over his notebook, he comes across a familiar and unexpected figure. It looks like the castle has claimed another person from his world. Grumbles to himself, wishing that more people from his world would take the time to hide their identities and cover their tracks.
Quickly looks around the corridor to make sure no one else is nearby, before motioning for her to follow him into an empty room.
"Supergirl, it's me. Robin. Follow me."
no subject
"Robin? What the heck is going on here?"
no subject
"I don't go Robin here, I go by Alvin Draper." Puts the object he was holding back into his utility belt.
"We've been brought into what I believe is a pocket dimension, that is at the heart of the multiverse. No one has been able to willingly escape. Anyone who has left was sent back by the castle."
no subject
"Okay, so, why?" Feel free to answer any number of whys left implicit in the question.
no subject
"The residents here are from different universes. Some of us are from the same universe, but we come from different points in time."
