[When arriving in this dream, you'll find yourself in various parts of Paradisa whether it be the castle or the grounds. And boy, do things sure look different. The town is nothing more but rubble, with the farmlands surrounding it razed and salted. There is no sign of any towns person still being alive. The castle still stands, but it seems to lack the life it once had.]

[As for the residents? Well, they got a worst fate than the townspeople. If you come across most residents, there's a good amount of changes. First noticeable thing is they now have wings (some like fairies while most have typical white bird angel wings). They all seem to have a red crystal embedded on them. But worst of all? They are completely devoid of any personality or free thought. Their eyes seem dead and they only seem to respond to the wishes of the one who caused this]

[If you're lucky, you might come across someone who hasn't succumb to this fate - they seem to have taken to hiding in the forest or the mountains. If not? Well...good luck.]

[OOC: TLDR TIME YAY! A joint dream where essentially Mithos Yggdrasil showed up in paradisa and took things over! Pretty much meaning he destroyed the town and turned every resident into zombie-angels. The Symphonian cast (including Mithos cough) will be all over this, but anyone is free to participate in this dream too! If you wish to do so, we got a number of options if you want to more!

OPTION A - Returning Resident/ just wandered into this room.
You just wandered into this or have no idea what's going on. Try not to get killed by angels.

OPTION B - Survivor.
You remember this and don't know it's just a dream. You remember when Mithos Yggdrasil started turning residents into angels, razing the town and claiming himself god. You were among one of the few lucky ones who escaped, who are currently in hiding and either want to find a way to take down Mithos- or find a way out into the Dead Zone where his hand has not reached yet. Maybe you're hiding in the rubble of the city, or the mountains or the forest. Try not to get killed by angels.

OPTION C - Former Angel.
You remember this and don't know it's just a dream. You remember when Mithos Yggdrasil started turning residents into angels, razing the town and claiming himself god. But you were unlucky, and were among the residents who got turned into the mindless drones. You remember how you were forced to kill all the townspeople, help in turning fellow residents into mindless drones like you. But you got lucky in the way that someone saved you, put a keycrest (fancy piece of metal) on your crystal so you regained your mind. You're still an angel- you still don't eat, sleep and maybe even your sense of touch is diminished or gone- but at least you have a mind and soul again. Plus the enhanced senses, strength and reflexes are really nice too. Try not to get caught again.

OPTION D - Angel
You remember this and don't know it's just a dream. You remember when Mithos Yggdrasil started turning residents into angels, when he razed the town, when he claimed himself God of a now lifeless land. But you were unlucky, and were among the residents who got turned into the mindless drones. You have enhanced senses, strength, reflexes and wings. On the flipside, you don't eat, sleep, feel and talking is optional too (since many angels have no voices). You feel nothing. All you desire to do is follow Mithos and his great plan. Have fun.

... [ He's fairly quiet, his usual snark completely out of the question at this point. He's just so scared, and what if Zelos is tricking him?

He knows it's pretty unlikely, but still... it scares him so much.

Genis gives him a little nod in response to his question. ]

... yeah.

How did you...

[ How did you manage to become human again? How did you regain your soul? How are you okay now?

The questions were begging to be asked, but he was still too afraid to speak much, swallowing awkwardly. He could use some food and water... ]

[Fortunately, Zelos is so used to that being one of the first questions that people give him when they see him again. He doesn't even need the full question to answer it]

Someone from the resistance put a keycrest on me.

[a less skeptical person would think they were doing that to save him, to give him his humanity back. But he knew the truth. Zelos was too dangerous, giving him his soul back took him out of the game permanently. Simple as that.]

[pocketmage]

[ He nods, breathing out a slight sigh. Relief? Maybe.

But can he still trust him?... a part of him is too jumpy to trust, especially someone he had never been too close to. But with his best friends and even sister gone for him... he seems to be giving him a slight chance. ]

How long has it been since?

Few weeks?

I haven't kept close track of the time.

[pocketmage]

[ He pauses, eyes darting about quickly before looking back to him. ]

Are you alone?

[wilder]

[he almost can't help but scoff at that]

Sure am. Weirdly people don't want me around.

[ And somehow, that draws a much more characteristic huff from Genis, as tense as he is. ]

Huh. I wonder why.

[ But then there's another pause... ]

But we're never going to make it alone. I mean, in the long run.

[ Is he suggesting something?... ]

[wilder]

Hm. [Yep...seems to be doing so. There's a pause on Zelos's end. His initial response is to say no. He deserves to be alone. It's not like he cares all that much about surviving. What was the point? Not a whole lot to live for these days, as far as Zelos was concerned. ]

[In the end...he compromises]

If being alone is what you're worried about, I can take to where the resistance are staying. They'd take you in.

[pocketmage]

[ He quickly picks up on how Zelos is conveniently excluding himself. ]

And you?

[ He doesn't understand why he's inexplicably concerned. Maybe because this was the first sensible person he's talked to for a long time. ]

[wilder]

[he gives one of his age old smirks...even if it seems almost a bit tired, a bit more worn]

As always, I'll manage.

[pocketmage]

[ It's easy to see- even Genis seems aged, as though he's so much older than he currently is. ]

Don't be stupid.

[wilder]

Whaaat? It's not stupid. The Resistance doesn't feel like having me around- I'm a bit triggering for a lot of members. Don't blame them really.

You don't have to worry about me.

[He'll activate his wings, as if to remind him of this point that he's not exactly what you'd call human anymore]

I mean, I don't even get hungry or sleepy anymore. I'm better off than a lot of you.

[pocketmage]

[ He simply frowns at Zelos. ]

Maybe not, but that's no reason to dump me with them.

[ He crosses his arms in retaliation to the redhead drawing out his wings, seeming nonchalant. He's used to wings... he's used to angels, now. ]

... And maybe I don't like you that much, but you're still a person, alright?

[ He feels that in Lloyd's absence, he has to try and be brave. And being brave includes trying to get over his childishness when it came to Zelos. ]

[wilder]

[A pause...then a soft snort as he mutters to himself, in that tired amused tone that isn't really full of that much humor]

Some days I wonder...

[Not like most people in his life ever treated him like one. And well the ones that did...look what happened to them; but he'll talk at a normal volume now]

Thanks, but they aren't so bad. And they have food, which you probably badly need and I'm kinda lacking in it.

[pocketmage]

[ He doesn't quite catch the mutter, but Genis will stand his ground regardless. ]

Then can't I just get food and leave?

[ he asked, oddly stubborn about this.

Honestly, Zelos was more of a familiar face than the Resistance, at least to his knowledge. ]

...You're really being stubborn about this, Squirt. Surely you didn't miss me that badly.

[pocketmage]

[ He frowns again, furrowing his brow. ]

No, but you shouldn't be alone, anyway. So if they don't like you, then I'll stay with you.

[wilder]

[...]

You're actually serious about this.

[pocketmage]

[ He gives him a nod.

Maybe he doesn't like him, but he's not about to leave him alone, either. Besides... Lloyd would have probably done the same thing. ]

I wouldn't be insisting so much if I wasn't, you know. [ A slight hint of exasperation. By the Gods, Zelos, you are difficult. ]

[wilder]

What? Alone?

[pocketmage]

[ He rolls his eyes. ]

Serious.

[wilder]

[Hey he's sorry he doesn't understand this shonenism anymore. Considering you know, kinda turned his shonen INTO A ZOMBIE. ]

When the hell did you get so stubborn-

Fine. You can go with me.

[pocketmage]

[ Welp, now you have to deal with this little boy attempting to shonen it up in here. ]

[ He's admittedly happy that his first foray into this whole being brave thing ended up working, to be honest... and now he won't be alone.

Genis hated being alone. ]

[Zelos meanwhile didn't get it. Why was the kid giving up on more security and shelter over him? It was not practical and Genis had always been one of the more practical of their friends, if Genis would even call him that.]

[Well...guess things changed. He tries to overlook the tug of happiness he feels in his chest at the idea that he won't be alone anymore, that one of his fellow companions was here with him.]

...Whatever.

Let's get moving. Angels patrol this area after nightfall.
