What: Halloween!! Trick'or Treating and a Slumber Party!

Early when you rise, it feels like you've had the best night's sleep. You're well-rested and the air outside the window is crisp and showing more than just the signs of fall. Mostly, because the seasons are weird here. You should be used to that. The castle has opted to go simple for the holiday, providing only invitations to all to take the children of the castle Trick or Treating starting at three in the afternoon. There is the promise of a slumber party and time to exchange and enjoy candy. Residents are given bags of candy to hand out (though the castle suspects some might simply eat it themselves) and large Halloween themed bowls.

Costumes are hung, ready to be worn, for all the little boys and girls. With spider rings around their toothbrushes and glow in the dark vampire teeth in their water glass, the castle is glad that the young ones are so excited for the holiday. They all get dressed, proudly displaying their costume, and head down to meet the rest of the children where they hope to have a memorable Halloween for many years to come.

[Legolas smiles right back and practically jogs over to said redhead.]

Excited?

Powers, yes. I don't even remember being excited this much for anything.

I have been but not for this. I always get excited for the first snows in Mirkwood. Adar always takes me out with him.

I ain't ever seen snow.

[He looks appalled.]

Cross my heart. It mostly only rains in Mélusine.

Well... This castle grants wishes right? Can't we wish for snow? Then you can see it!

Powers...you think that'd work?

And it doesn't hurt to try!

Hmmm...alright then. Castle, I want to see snow!

[And then a moment later a small drift's worth of snow plops on the ballroom floor]

[Legolas makes a face.]

Well, that wasn't very impressive.

Maybe I should have asked for it to snow...rather than for snow by itself.

[He shrugs and bends down to touch it anyway, and then gasps]

It's so cold!

We'll just have to wait for a proper snow then.

[Legolas laughs and kneels down to pack it into a ball to hand to his companion.]

The older elves taught me you can make snow into balls for throwing. It's a lot of fun!

Guess so...

[He watches on curiously]

For throwing? What for?

It's for fun! When there's lots of it, you can throw lots of it at people and they're throw it back.

Hmmm...like this? [And he'll take the ball of snow and toss it at Legolas, giggling]

[Right in the chest! But he laughed happily at it.]

Just like that!

I can see what you mean.

It's a lot more fun when there's a lot of snow and many people to throw it at.

[He nods]

I can't wait to try it for real.

There will be much fun to be had~!

[Smiling, he holds out a hand]

I'm Felix, by the way.

[After a moment, he extended his own hand and grinned.]

And I am Legolas~

[Felix laughs and shakes it]
