What: Halloween!! Trick'or Treating and a Slumber Party!

Early when you rise, it feels like you've had the best night's sleep. You're well-rested and the air outside the window is crisp and showing more than just the signs of fall. Mostly, because the seasons are weird here. You should be used to that. The castle has opted to go simple for the holiday, providing only invitations to all to take the children of the castle Trick or Treating starting at three in the afternoon. There is the promise of a slumber party and time to exchange and enjoy candy. Residents are given bags of candy to hand out (though the castle suspects some might simply eat it themselves) and large Halloween themed bowls.

Costumes are hung, ready to be worn, for all the little boys and girls. With spider rings around their toothbrushes and glow in the dark vampire teeth in their water glass, the castle is glad that the young ones are so excited for the holiday. They all get dressed, proudly displaying their costume, and head down to meet the rest of the children where they hope to have a memorable Halloween for many years to come.

Hello Mr. Rogers! I didn't know you were going to be here.

Hey Takato! [He's smiling at that costume.] This is my second year going actually. I can't pass on trick or treating.

Really? I guess it was kind of fun dressing up. [He laughs.] Though I don't think this would work out so well in a battle.

Lucky for you battles aren't on the agenda tonight. We're going to be collecting candy.

That sounds much more fun!

[He adds another thought quietly.]

Guilmon and Culumon would have loved this.

Oh, I do hope so. I promised Guilmon I would play with him again someday.

And now you have candy to offer him if he shows up. Hording candy is a Halloween tradition.

Well you can't keep it forever, but you'd be surprised how long it lasts.
