if you don't leave you will kill or be killed
Who: Micheletto and you
What: the most ridiculous intro i've ever written
When: 13/December, late afternoon
Where: the duck pond
Rating: ducks.
[There is currently a very nonplussed-looking man standing knee-deep in the duck pond. He has apparently been there for at least several minutes, because the ducks have become accustomed to his presence enough where they aren't too afraid to come close.
His hair is a little damp, too. Maybe he fell in earlier? Regardless, he's still just standing there. It's a little weird. Surely someone in such a catatonic state could use some assistance!
Of course, the second any hypothetical assistance gets close enough, he's going to grab them and toss them into the pond. Maybe that's why he looks so puzzled.]
[ooc.: during this post, micheletto's also experiencing his first temporary loss, wherein he will just shove people into the pond reflexively if they get within arm's reach. because it's funny. prose or actionspam, you decide!]

[So not amused.]

[He's been looking at the sky for a bit, and once he comes to a conclusion, he glances at Steph again.]
This is not Rome.
no subject
But at the mention of Rome, her "wow I want to shove you" expression changes to that of surprise.]
Rome? No, it's not. This is Paradisa. You're from Rome?
no subject
I did not think angels would look thus.
[This sounds like a line but it's not!!!!!! He's just baffled that an angelic raiment would consist of, like, a coat.]
no subject
You're not dead. [Probably.] This isn't the afterlife or anything.
no subject
Then it's a poor name.
no subject
[She pauses, looking this guy over. Sorta creepy, even aside from the pushing her into the pond.]
Soooo. You just found yourself here?
no subject
Yes. How far is it to Rome?
no subject
[She'll be nice. Again. She always feels bad when people end up here...]
What's your name? I'm Stephanie.
no subject
I cannot stay here.
no subject
Everyone's stuck here.
no subject
Then it is good fortune I am not everyone.

[His cloak is sufficiently dry (read: now it's damp instead of dripping), so he drops it and looks at her.]
I am no one.
no subject
You're not making this easy, you know.
no subject
[He looks around for a second, decides This Way must be the way to Rome (why not), and starts walking.]
no subject
No, it's really not.
Where are you going?
no subject
Rome.

no subject
Then speak plainly. What happened to it?
no subject
Nothing happened to Rome. Whenever you go back, you'll be right in the moment you left. You've been kidnapped by a magical castle, and you're stuck here until it decides to let you go.
... sounds crazy, but I am pointing at said castle.
[SHE POINTS.]

If you think me a fool, you're mistaken. Find another mark to con.
[He places his hand on the sword at his hip. You know, to emphasise that he's not being taken in by this clearly obvious chicanery.]
no subject
[She frowns at the sword. Not really wanting to get shanked today... especially by this guy.]
no subject
Why. For what purpose?
