IT'S A BABY-BONANZA!

Good morning, residents! Did you sleep well? You're going to need all the energy you can muster because congratulations: You're parents! Again! The Paradisa Stork has paid some very lucky residents a visit last night, and even moved them to a more kid-friendly environment.

Some of you may already recognize your little bundle of joy and--my, how they've grown! Others will have to get acquainted with their little rugrats. You may not know them, but they certainly know you. By they way? They're bored. And hungry! And they want all the attention you could possibly give them.

It's going to be a long week.

How are you feeling right now about everything?

Worried. [Worried about their issue becoming her being forced into making a choice. But she doesn't want to get into that right now, or find out if she's right or wrong about it.]

Worried about you, mostly. I know you just need time, but I can't help it. And today's been... emotional, to say the least.

[dorkwonder]

I'm worried about you. [As much as he appreciates her being so concerned about him, he wants to know more about what's going on with her.]

[secondchances]

I'm okay, Tim. [Definitely totally okay after revisiting terrible trauma thanks to space hallucinations, getting stabbed by the girl she once loved like a sister, getting attacked by her boyfriend, dealing with crazy said boyfriend, a BFF disappearing into space, and arguments that dig deep.

And a castle baby.

Totally fine.]

Now you sound like me and we both know you're not me.

[Between the two of them he's the one who is meant to be broody and bottle things up.]

[Her head hangs a little.]

... okay, maybe not okay okay. But you don't need to worry, I bounce back pretty easily.

[dorkwonder]

[Remembers how Lucrezia mentioned how Steph can endure everything that the castle throws at her. Believes that's true for the most part, but eventually it gets to her.]

You can lean on me from time to time, you know.

[secondchances]

[In the form of a hysterical crying fit once every three years. Steph frowns and picks at her food.]

Does it seem like I'm not?

[dorkwonder]

You seem like you're keeping it bottled up. I can't blame you, given how I reacted or didn't react earlier today. [She left in tears and he was too caught up in his own emotions to go after her.]

I'm sorry for that.

[secondchances]

[That, and it feels like there's a lot she can't talk to him about without being judged. Lucrezia is forever a "I told you so," and Ezio just leads to an argument. She feels a flood of guilt when she thinks about how easy it is to talk to Ezio about anything and everything. He could be a typical guy sometimes and be pretty dumb, but for the most part, he didn't criticize or judge her. Even when it came to the Borgia, their topic of disdain, they were pretty respectful of each other. She understood how he felt, and he understood she wouldn't stand for him making a move against them in Paradisa.

Aaaand she'll stop thinking about that right now.

She does appreciate the apology, though.]

I'm not trying to keep anything bottled up, for the record. It's just easier, right now.

[Tim watches her, wondering what she is thinking about. This must be what it's like for her whenever she tries to figure out what he's brooding over.]

I understand. [And he does. There's a lot for the two of them to process. Goes back to his sandwich, having a decent idea of what the next day will be like.]

[secondchances]

[Steph reaches over to run her fingers through his hair. Gosh, it feels like she just rejected him or something.]

Hey, boyfriend.

[dorkwonder]

[Pauses mid bite, glancing over at her.]

Hey, something up?

[secondchances]

Love you. [Kisses his cheek.]

[dorkwonder]

Love you too. [Kisses her back. ] What do you want to do for the rest of the evening?

[secondchances]

Pretend earlier today didn't happen. And play with the baby, I guess.

[dorkwonder]

Sure, we can for that. [Returns to his food and he thoughts. Something feels off inside of him, but he can't quite place his finger on it. If he gives himself another minute or two, he's sure he'll get it. ]

[secondchances]

It's a plan. [Steph goes back to her food, in a slightly better mood.]

[dorkwonder]

[Tim blinks a couple of times when he realizes what he's feeling; loneliness. Back home he has disagreements with people and does his own thing, but the Titans back him up. Conner always has his back no matter what. If Conner or Cassie was around, he could blow off steam with them, they'd validate his concerns, and he could start to move on.

He has already given Steph enough to worry about, he is not going to add that into the mix. ]

When do you think he'll wake up?

[secondchances]

When it's time for the food to come out the opposite end.

[She guesses, anyway!]

[dorkwonder]

[Once the ball starts rolling in his head, it doesn't stop. Because he is also thinking about how he can't turn to his father for advice. Rolls over onto his side, closing his eyes over. ]

You know, a nap sounds great. I think I am going to take one.

[secondchances]

Tim?

[That shift in mood was obvious. She puts her food aside, so that she can put a hand on his arm.]

[dorkwonder]

Yeah, Steph? [Keeps his eyes closed. ]

Talk to me. I know when something is bothering you.

[dorkwonder]

I'll be okay. [Looks like they are both taking a page from the same book. ] I'm just tired.
