"Heeeeeeey."

Sometimes it's hard to find Tim, and sometimes it's too easy. When she does catch him today, she sidles up to him with the cutest smile she can manage.

This crap with Cass and Tim has gone on for way too long. Neither of them seemed to be even trying to talk it out, so it was up to her to play mediator and at least nudge Tim in the right direction.

She wasn't intending for this to turn into an argument.

"This isn't going to cause a problem between you and me," she says, offering him a brief smile. Except she'll bash both his head and Cass' head together if they don't stop this crap. "I just don't think it's a good idea to let this go on for too long, and I can't talk to Cass about it. I do know I can talk to you, though."

[dorkwonder]

"I can't talk to her when she's this angry. It will only escalate and become worse." Tim gets why she's upset, but that doesn't make the situation any easier.

Sighs softly, leaning his shoulder against hers.

"I wish things could be peaceful for more than a few days."

Steph lightly bumps his arm with her own. It's a good sign when he's not pulling away from her during a chat like this.

"Hey, we had a few days of very peaceful peace. And if you talked to her, I'd be there. I could try to keep her calm."

[dorkwonder]

Shakes his head.

"I appreciate the offer, but the talk needs to be between Cass and I." Takes a sip of his pop, staring at the can. He's not sure how the conversation will go down. From what he's gathered, Cass had no problem holding back on him when he was out of his mind and needed to be restrained. He's glad that she restrained him, it's just a little upsetting that it apparently came so easily to her.

"It should be all of us." She wasn't exempt.

[dorkwonder]

"How about we talk to her in a couple of days, then?" Tim hopes that's a reasonable compromise. It is in the near future, but it also gives him a couple of days to hammer out what he wants to say. The look he has on his face is a "take it or leave it" look.

"A few days." She knows he's digging his heels into the dirt, but she gives him the courtesy of a kiss on the cheek--like she's compromising, or something. "She'll be more willing to listen with me there, I think."

[dorkwonder]

"I don't think I could stand another heated argument." He'd probably end up leaving the room or letting Steph take over the conversation. Sets his pop down, so he can drape an arm over her, and lean against her again.

"I know," she says, shifting and sitting on her legs to gain a little height before wrapping her arms around his shoulders, hugging him. It was really bad timing--she and Tim had enough arguments between them, he probably didn't need to argue with Cass, either. It wore him down.

"We'll work it out like adults."

[dorkwonder]

"Do we have to be adults?" Adds with a small smirk, shifting his position about so the two of them are cozier with each other. While he's not thrilled that he had a falling out with someone to begin with, he is glad that it's not an argument between the two of them. For once, their relationship is going well and they've worked out their major issues. For the time being, anyway.

She idly runs her fingers through his hair, though she gives a gentle tug at his comment.

"Yes. Or else. Don't make me play mom in this household, Timothy."

[dorkwonder]

Closes one of his eyes over at the yank, lightly poking her in the side.

"I'd fear for all of our health if that ended up being the case."

"What's that supposed to mean?" She lightly rubs her knuckles against his head. "Huh?"

[dorkwonder]

Reaches up to grab her hand, lightly holding it into place. "It means our fridge would be overflowing with food that would make my arteries shrivel up, just looking at it."

[secondchances]

"I'm insulted, even if that's accurate. But you know what I mean."

[dorkwonder]

"I don't think I do." Slides his hands over to her shoulders, giving them a gentle push so he has her weakly pinned down against the couch.

[secondchances]

Steph lets herself be pinned, smiling at Tim expectantly. "Minus three points, boyfriend."

[dorkwonder]

"Three points, huh? That's quite a bit. I'll have to do something to make up for them." Leans in closer to her, hoovering his lips over hers. After a couple of seconds, he closes the distance between the two of them, kissing her enthusiastically on the lips.

[secondchances]

She kisses him back, hand trailing down his sides.

"That's one point back," she laughs, touching their noses together. Steph takes a moment to push his hair back and inspect his face, as if she can see how he's doing without asking if he's alright.

[dorkwonder]

"Two more to go." Murmurs in between their kisses. Keeps his eyes closed during the kiss, mostly because it is the natural thing to do. When he feels her eyes on him, he opens them up to glance at her. Attempts to express through his eyes that he's doing a-okay at the moment.

At the moment. She tugs him down for a hug.

"I've got to hug you all I can before Cass breaks your arms."

Kidding, kidding. She even laughs, dryly. "It'sajoke."

[dorkwonder]

"...So romantic." Have a look or two.

[secondchances]

"I won't let her do that. That's romantic, I'd say!"

[dorkwonder]

"My knight in eggplant armor. What would I do without you?"

[secondchances]

"Read books all day and all night." Duh. It's obvious.
